I got this on Black Friday deal for $399 and it’s definitely worth it. It’ll save you so much time as I it a couple of times a week and then one big manual vac every fortnight.

This is def well worth the $$

    • do you use map multifloor feature?

      • Haha … dunno even know what that is. We just vac / mop the rooms that need it or that we’re not in.

        • Its for people on 2 storey house

          • @CyberMurning: Oh nah I’m on a 40sq single level.

          • @CyberMurning: but do you have to carry it between different floors?

            Edit:
saw your same question and the answer…

            • @aec: Yes but 2nd floor is less dirty so once a week is okay. Cant afford 2 robots anyway, just think as arm exercises.

My main concern is if the robot able to run map 2 (2nd floor map) without the charging station on 2nd floor.

      • I used it and it worked fine. You do manually have to switch the maps though; my understanding is that the Roborocks do that automatically.

        • So to create map on 2nd floor do you need to bring the charger station up as well?

But after creating map, for day to day cleaning, we just need to carry the robot unit only to 2nd floor?

          • @CyberMurning: Yep.

It'll spend some time looking for the non existent dock the second time, and then eventually give up. Mine now realises there's no dock and just goes back to where it started after its done.

            • @JR63: Hmm tried once so far and mine (L10) seems keep wondering for over 30mins at 2nd floor, i had to stop it manually. Maybe will try second time

  • Can anyone assist?

I think I have set it up successfully, and have scheduled cleanups

Unfortunately, the Dreame D9 seems to turn itself off- power off + goes offline on the app rather than go into standby (says something about powering off after 12 hours of inactivity), and so does not complete any scheduled cleanup. I mean I don't use it every <12 hours. And I can't put it on on the app as its offline.

    • Can't help you with that one, but I've had a couple of times now where it finishes a job, and then all of a sudden the map disappears from the app. So won't do any scheduled room cleans (as there's no rooms available).

I've had to reset the vacuum completely and run another full clean-up to get the map rebuilt and reset the schedule.
Seems to happen after a mop run, but that could be coincidental… Massive pain. Contacted Dreame support but all they've suggested so far is the reset (or factory reset). If it happens again I'll contact them again.
