Anyone ever heard of CobraTech, I can’t find any reviews? I don’t know much about specs, but seems like a decent price but was thinking of trying to get an upgrade on the CPU and upgrading storage.

Thoughts? How’s the performance and value on this thing? Also free shipping + a good deal on keyboard, mouse and headset.

    Is this a joke post?

    • No, I don’t know the first thing about pc specs, is this a scam or what am I missing?

You don't know the first thing about PC Specs?

But you want to upgrade the CPU & Storage? Why?

        • Because from I understand the CPU is pretty old and I’d like more storage? I don’t know why people think I’m marketing lol, happy to take it down and delete my account if necessary?

          • @MysticAnarchy: Check the link below. If you were not the seller for this rig, are you happy to pay $372.49 extra to let them assemble the rig, throw in some cheap accessories and install a Windows OS with postage for you?

            https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/PNchXy

I would expect the seller can get the parts even cheaper from the distributors so add another 10~15% profit on each part.

Sockpuppeting + not a good deal. Imagine paying $1630 and still getting a 5500

Yeah I was hoping to upgrade the CPU for $$$, but haven’t heard on a price or upgrade options. What should I be paying for something like this? Ideally with a better CPU.

OP, why do you need to run your business through different business names/websites (Cobra Tech/Budget Tech)?

  • I wouldn't buy any AM4 socket for this price anymore, although there are many similar deals for similar specs.
Clearly they are clearing out old stock, incl MB and CPU.

If someone wants to help out on a decent price or specs for something in this range that would be sweet, not sure why people think I’m marketing? Genuinely wondering if this is even a legit company?

If you want help post in forums. Don't post garbage deals and ask for input in comments

  • Not a good deal OP. Around 1k and it'd be something to talk about.

Thanks appreciate the straightforward response, would have deleted this thread by now if I could

Any idea when such a deal would become available?

  • +8

Lol the bad pretend replies to hide being a sockpuppet are so cringe.

Making a deal post on a PC with no research as to the expected price range for those components…

If you're not a sockpuppet OP, thanks for having a go, but usually these would be better off as forum posts if you're looking for advice on a product :)

Forum post at best, not a deal.

  • Probably worth noting this isn't $300 off as mentioned in the banner "SUMMER SALE! $300 OFF All PCs + FREE Shipping. Ends 31/01/2023.". This is $270 off aka $1900 - $1630 = $270.

Neg since it is over priced and not a bargain. As others have mentioned, this would be better in the forum.
