    Hi Luke,
Will you be releasing Ryzen 7000x3D and AM5 systems anytime soon?

    • Had a quick look on their website and noticed no 13th gen intel or 7000 processors at all. Would be interesting to see when they are going to update builds with the newer stuff.

      • +6

That's a shame. I really like the value of the current generation of AMD AM4 CPUs but I just think it's a dead end platform. Would be nice if they offered AM5 options.

        • Yeah, holding off on a AM5 deal with a 4080 and DDR5 RAM, either from TechFast or BPC Tech.

    • Check out the BPC deal today

Is there local pickup to save the shipping?

      • +7

lol what. picked mine up, saved $30 shipping. Not sure what you're on about unless things have changed

        • +6

No shot there's much (if any) profit to be made charging $30 to ship a whole PC anyways…

  • +1

    Any more Gainward 4090 drops?

    • that wasnt a deal - pay $100 more and you get a better card, or even better HODL

      • +4

i don't think 4090's are going to drop they have no competition, 4080 and 70ti maybe if AMD decides to make things competetive but as it currently stands both are happy to try and make this pricing the new norm.

        • +1

they dropped few $$ since launch already and are in stock everywhere, will see

        • +2

I'd argue that they probably shouldn't drop. They're targeted at the "more money than sense" crowd that just gotta have the best, and that's fine. It's every other damn card that's so overpriced they're on the same approximate cost/performance as the stupidly expensive halo card, and that just ain't right.

5500 + 3060ti deal for 949$ looks sweet as, I know most folks would prefer the 6700XT+5500 deal for 50$ extra, but at least within my younger demographic friend circle, most if not all of them likes/wanted to try out streaming and you arent going to stream anything on the latter rig without significant impact on gaming performance, but you can always go with nvnec encoding on this with much less fps drops.

    • Wondering how significant the drop off in terms of FPS for modern games is going to be from 6700XT to 3060ti? I missed out on the 6700XT deal, but I’m prepared to wait in the hope it returns, or something better surfaces. Alternately I could revert to 5500 RX 6600 combo and put up with 1080 gaming - just looking for good value at this point. Cheers.

    • thoughts on the motherboard? (AMD A320M [M-ATX] Motherboard)

      • old… low-end part, but seriveable

    • +4

Not entirely true, AMD has its equivalent AMF encoder which also has minimal performance impact. Quality admittedly isn't as good as nvenc but it's been getting some much needed updates, and is probably good enough for a lot of people.

      • would you have any good benchmark comparisons? The only one I can find is in this video and yes, its much better than before but still fell short of nvnec, at least given the few he showed? im all for amd if they can keep up the update to the drivers-but it seems very infrequent for radeon cards to receive any updates in this field?

        • Yeah I agree that AMD isn't the best option for hardware encoding and updates probably won't change that anytime soon, just wanted to point out that AMF can be a fine stream encoder option for someone who doesn't mind the lower quality.

    Hi Luke,

Coupon is not working when I select the 5600 upgrade for the 3060TI deal. Just want to check if the deal still applies when upgrading the 5500 to 5600. Thanks!

  • Purchased 3060ti deal in November. After the 6700xt deal and this 3060ti deal I really wish I had HODL’d

    • I regret not going for the 6700 deal.

Just 12 months ago, 3060 ti costed more than this deal.

    • +10

12 months is a long time in tech

Wish there was a motherboard upgrade for the 3060ti deal

    • i was thinking of getting this deal, is the motherboard not good?

      • A320 is as old and barebones as they come

    • B550 is too good so they might need to clean up other models?

  • is the 5600 worth the $100 increase? an no mobo upgrades? 😢

    • is the 5600 worth the $100 increase?

      For $100, no.

      • "If you're building a new PC from scratch, the Ryzen 5 5500 is a hard pass, don't even consider it."
Although it's reasoning is to get the i3-12100F which you can't do here anyway.

        • +1

They reviewed it with the 5600 costing $40 more. Even factoring in currency we're talking double the difference here and the 5600 is not at all worth that price gap. You can see that you would gain ~7% gaming performance for example, which is awful for $100 at this price point.

If you want strong CPU performance, get something stronger than a 5600. If you just care about games, put that $100 into GPU.

  • Any option to ship components separately? Cheers Caleb & Luke.

    • +2

I think you write "Ship Unassembled" in the order notes.

  • can i upgrade the mobo in the 3060ti deal?

  • Hi Luke, the 4080 PC deal seem to have ran out of coupons, is there any more available?

    • +1

Worked for me (at least in cart).

      5700X-4080-JAN

  • +1

Can we get some more information on (brand model may vary) ill revoke my upvote until we actually know.

Its such a ploy to use non brand name parts and you can build an extremely cheap system but provides no opportunity for the buyer to make an informed decision.

Until then BPC is far ahead of TechFast in that sense.

    • Only fools buy this way without knowing brand name parts

  • Ugh i bought the 3060 with the crappy motherboard, and there's no cancellations :'(

  • @luketechfast Hi Luke, keen on the 3060ti + 5500 upgrade to 5600 combo. Just tried applying coupon but it didn’t work. Is the sale still on for that set up? Thanks you

    • worked for me

    • Worked for me too.

    • Did you use 5500-3060Ti-JAN ?

The main coupon code in the post is for the other PC I think

  • Does the a320 mobo have wifi?

  • Sucks to see this after buying the previous 4080 build where stock was 1k more… ah well I enjoy the deal bargainers, the PC is good

  • Now I regret getting my 3060ti deal 2 days ago through Siren. How does it compare to this 3060ti deal? This one looks like a lot better value:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/752138
    Siren Vortex Essential GeForce RTX 3060 Ti G6X Gaming PC, 12400F + RTX 3060 Ti G6X + 1TB SSD, now at $1259.1 + Delivery

      Don't its a good buy!

      • Is it the same as this deal just $300 more though? Or is the intel processor vs the amd an upgrade? Plus 500GB more storage I guess.

  • Please keep the 3060ti deal in stock till mid feb as I will be assure to buy
