Following other networks, Vodafone is also offering free calls to Türkiye and Syria following the earthquakes.

From 10 February, 2023 to 11.59pm, 16 February 2023, Vodafone will provide free mobile standard international calls to Turkiye and Syria for postpaid and prepaid customers.
Free-rating applies to standard international voice calls to Türkiye (prefix +90) and Syria (prefix +963). The following services are excluded from free-rating, and usage will incur additional charges: Premium calls, Premium SMS, SMS, MMS, video calls, calls to satellite phones, and international roaming in Türkiye and Syria.

  Earthquake happened on the 6th Feb. I highly doubt relatives of family and friends waited 4 days to see if they are alive and well for the sake of 20c/min. This just feels like "everyone else is doing it so we have to as well"

  Does anyone else about the governments around the world this way ? around the world government all helping Turkey but not Syria due to US sanctions on Syria (like as if they aint entitled to humanitarian aid)
