    Glory to Arpoza!

  • OO, USB C PD / display!
This means it's excellent if just 'have' to have a second monitor to be productive whilst travelling!
    great price OP

  • Looking for a second display for the laptop on the go. What is considered best value in these screens range? Mostly care for resolution and refresh

  • Since it doesn't include an AU power adaptor, how much power does it require to power over USB-C?

If the 4k 14" portable monitor i bought a little while back is any indication.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/640252

This can be powered by your laptops usbc port. Or even a pd powerbank which i have done on occasion.

      • Nice, that's pretty low powered then if the laptop port is enough.

        • It will drain your laptop battery quicker but it will power it.

          • @xoom: Yeah, I probably wouldn't use it like that but it's reassuring that a low wattage adaptor should work in that case.

I'm powering my 4K Touch model with 18w phone brick. Seems fine

Is there any portable monitor with Bluetooth instead of cable connecting to it?

    • Love to know this

    • +2

Dont think bluetooth is fast enough to do data transfer required for display. Happy to be corrected though.

      • +1

Its not, even the ones I've tried with wifi are not good enough. It's ok if only temporary and for apowerpoint presentation, but not to do regular work or watch a movie

    • You would likely need another adaptor to connect to the HDMI port to cast to it. You won't be able to do this over bluetooth.

    • Would not work over Bluetooth.

  • Thanks OP. Bought one, hesitated last time a portable monitor deal was on and immediately needed one but deal was over. Forgot how OzBargain meant to work!

  • Think i'd rather pay $197 for this one purely for warranty/support reasons: https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/blaupunkt-…
