      This can be powered by your laptops usbc port. Or even a pd powerbank which i have done on occasion.

          It will drain your laptop battery quicker but it will power it.

            @xoom: Yeah, I probably wouldn't use it like that but it's reassuring that a low wattage adaptor should work in that case.

      Dont think bluetooth is fast enough to do data transfer required for display. Happy to be corrected though.

        Its not, even the ones I've tried with wifi are not good enough. It's ok if only temporary and for apowerpoint presentation, but not to do regular work or watch a movie

      You would likely need another adaptor to connect to the HDMI port to cast to it. You won't be able to do this over bluetooth.
