        bummer…

  • title is misleading. you should just mention that its a pack of 125 capsules..
i thought i could buy 1 or 2 capsules to try out..

    please edit.

  • yep, total cost $61.25 and they are compatible so use them as your own risk.

It's our pathetic education system that should be sorry

    • Yea
      for what kind of coffee?

    • they're from Italy? Well, it must be good coffee then. :-|

Well, I bought a pack of the red capsules from Office Works yesterday, and i'm sorry to say i am not particularly impressed. Compared to the genuine Nespresso I found them to be quite tasteless, almost like drinking a weak instant coffee.

A shame too as I am all for some competition as = cheaper coffee for me, but not at the expense of quality and taste. Also, my machine made some new intense pressure sounds that i'd never heard with the Nespresso pods. Doesn't bode well for long term use!

        • This deal is for Bestespresso / Espressoland, not the Caffe Vergnano Espresso 1882 from Officeworks…

        • office work in not a customer of best espresso!

If my interpretation of the previous comments are correct, then your original post only included a cost per pod and was, IMO, untruthful. A cost per unit should not be bandied about unless the minimum is also included. I drink somewhere between 50 and 100 cups of coffee a year. 49cents is only relevant if it is in my realm of usage. Poor form, first time rep.

The OP really should consider a really low priced (loss leader) sample pack deal, like those Beef Jerky people did. It'd get the name out there a LOT more effectively than expecting people to front up with $60 with a risk that it tastes like shit.

  • Got permission to use Olympics advertising Rep? I would be very careful
    https://www.google.com.au/search?aq=1&oq=use+of+the+word+ol&…

    • Agreed, whether or not you agree with the ferocity that the logo is protected, anyone who encroaches is viewed, IMO, as a suspect in business acumen. Who could possibly NOT know you can't use the likeness, logo, etc etc etc without paying?????

  • I wonder if they paid the IOC to use the word Olympic and associated trademark logos :-o

    arpeggio is best!

would never by random cheap capsules

Office works has similar now 55c a pod but you can buy them as 10 pods pack and try first https://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/search/Caffe+Vergnano

    • Thats awesome. I'd much rather try 10, than 125 pods! If they taste like ass, well i've only burnt $5.50, not $60+

    • Thanks for heads up. :) I don't drink nespresso pods, I have a real machine, but my girlfriend has a nespresso so this might be useful for her.

  • OP - any chance of a sample pack, with say 2 of each type (18 pods) for $12 delivered?

  • oh they are in Fremantle, besides the fact that yes I would say the Olympics logo was stolen, I wonder if they do pickups :D
I dont use crappy pods but an inlaw does…. But only insists on the real Nespresso ones but they are like 60c each or more.

  • Love to have a try. Is there a stories on melbourne? Can I get the sample pack somehow?
