  • Is it with Australian local warranty?

    • Doubtful , but who knows

Post from a couple days' ago:
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/758166
The entry S23 Ultra for a hundred and a bit bucks less…

      • Different capacity though, this might be the better deal

        • Still waiting for a one word response from 2 days' ago which I enquired via their website asking whether it was AU stock -_-

          • @Magnus Awesome: This is an Australian Stock and comes with 2 Years Samsung Australian warranty

    • Doubtful. No mention of it on their website at all. I wouldn't risk it personally.

      • Hi rep, what is the model number of the phone? Can you update your website listing with the model number for my peace of mind so i can buy

  • +2

I searched the sku 8806094693492 on Officeworks website and it is the same model. Might be able to price beat for 5% cheaper.

    • Are officeworks still offering tradeins? This could be a good deal.

    • Are we able to price match to OW, if sku is the same?

  • +2

Can someone confirm if this is correct?

    https://officeworks.moorup.com.au/promotion/samsung-galaxy-s…

So we can get $300 if we purchase the S23 Ultra with a valid trade in device.

That means if we manage to price match this - it'll be $1709.05

So after getting the $300 gift card + whatever trade in credit you receive

Cost of phone is about $1409.05 (minus trade in credit for your phone) ?

    • +1

I doubt it, but can you please ring OW and find out and let us know?

    • up to $300 depending on how old the model is and the quality, battery health etc

  • is it worth updating from s22 ultra to this?

    • +1

I really don’t think it is.

    • Yes, assuming you have AU stock with Exynos soc. Battery performance is much better. Finally feels like phone is going to last for 2 full days (YMMV).

      • +1

Pretty sure the AU 22 Ultra was snapdragon, only europe got the shit chip

    • not unless you want to take moon photos all the time

    • $300 is a gift card that Officeworks will give you on top of the value of your old device.

Anyone get one? Or get a pricematch?

  • +3

Just got a price match for $1709 at O'Connor Officeworks, Perth. Straightforward, no hassle. The black model is out-of-stock so they did a "click & collect" order for me.
The trade in promo is done separately and I will do that tomorrow.

    • Can you please upload copy of the receipt?

      Update on the trade-in order:

I was using a Sony phone and officeworks doesn't accept it for trade-in, so I looked at the phone list and found that pixel 4/XL phones have really high trade-in values (150-180), and you can easily get those phones on Facebook marketplace for less than $200. Pixel 5 and iPhone 7 also work if you can find good deals.

In summary, I spent $190 on a pixel 4 XL and got $165 + $300 (s23 series bonus) gift card back. Total cost of my Samsung S23 ultra 12+512GB is $1434. That is a pretty good deal considering that I still have my Sony phone which I can sell on Facebook marketplace later.

      • and got $165 + $300

Have actually received your $300 additional gift card?

        • +1

Not yet. It will be sent out before 31 March

          • @petrichorplus: When I applied for the Trade-In Additional Credit; they emailed back to "Keep an eye on your emails, as we will be sending you your Officeworks gift cards to (my email address) no later than Friday March 17 2023, after the program is finished."

It's now the 18th and I still didn't get it.

      • This is a very good deal

Where can I find a list of trade in devices and values please

  • @petrichorplus what is the $300 gift card redeemable for?

    • It’s an officeworks gift card

Can confirm price mate at officeworks is a success

    • Same here at OW Capalaba store in Brisbane. They barely looked at the competitor's page and the receipt uploaded on here. However, when I called 1300 OFFICE, they said they couldn't do price match because Unique Deals page doesn't show the model number and they don't go off SKU.

JB is no good. Chat rep says it's a grey import and not an Australian stock and that only 5 units are available from Unique Deals. I also walked in and asked staff but they said no.
JB is offering $250 gift card for 512Gb and 256Gb Ultra models until 29/3 both in store and online.

Mine was the other way around

In-store they wouldn't do it as it didnt have the Samsung part number. Funny enough unique deals on eBay lists the part number (I assume it was part of a template)

Called OW on the phone and they did it for me, had a spare phone and got in on the $300 bonus deal

So $1709 -$550( trade in, as ow gift cards) for an S23 ultra 12gb 512

    Happy chap

  • Anyone here got their $300 additional gift card from OW? It's now the 31st and still haven't got mine.
