    May be may be not, I guess cheddar's system approves bonuses on FIFO basis.

    For instance, you signed up using a referral link, made a purchase immediately and before it tracked, you keyed in STEPPAY70 code under promo, it will accept that.

    But when your cashback is tracked and approved later (assuming you've made an eligible purchase of $70 or more) it may only approve your referral bonus and you may still need to make another purchase of $70 or more to get the steppay bonus to be approved.

    Cheddar may not approve 2 bonuses for a single transaction.

    YMMV

      It'd be good if they could extend the "new users" definition to "recent" so that we don't feel betrayed. Not just for us, but for them too, as we would need to spend the minimum to get the cashback and that would get us into the habit of using cheddar

    I think they'd stacked, but unsure on the order of things.

    It says new users, not first order.

    So I assume sign up, spend $25 and then go to link and get the $70 bonus and spend $70

              My partner signed up for cheddar via the StepPay landing page and they can see the $70 pending in their profile. They also applied my referral code so their profile now has $70 + $25. I understand from previous deals that this will require 2 x transactions, first one over $70 will attribute to the $70 sign up bonus and second transaction will be to $25.

              If they make 2 transactions meeting each criteria, will they be able to get both bonus?

                I've noted under another comment in this forum that you are only eligible for one signup bonus. As a referral bonus and the StepPay bonuses are both sign up bonuses, these cannot be stacked. Approval is based on which ever sign up offer was activated first. Any subsequent sign up offers that are activated will be declined.

    It says that once it is approved by the partner merchant, then it will also approve the $70 cashback. What if the merchant only approves after the $70 cashback expires after 29th day? For example, Ebay takes 90 days to approve.

          Surely he would've mentioned already if StepPay had to be used… will be a lot of people pissed off otherwise. Also doesn't say anything about needing to use it in the T&Cs. Seems it's simply a sign-up bonus for StepPay users (meant to be for them anyway), but they don't actually need to use StepPay as payment method.

    I had both referral bonus and the STEPPAY $70 bonus activated and purchased something yesterday.

    Just checked the app, and the $70 bonus is now straight up declined, and only the $25 bonus appears as pending.
