Realistically that's not guaranteed and is very hit and miss.
I got a $50 offer shortly after a cancelled last year… though the voucher never arrived and I had to chase up support. Luckily I took screenshots & video of me accepting the join & get a voucher offer email otherwise I’m sure they would have not given it to me.
This renewal, I just went in to cancel & it offered $30 if I let it renew instead… figured I wouldn’t push my luck 2 years in a row so let it renew… still don’t have my $30 voucher though… time to chase up support again.
I did the cancellation a couple of days ago, and got the $30 voucher the next day via email.

I did alright with that one.. Paid $4.99 for yearly, got the $80 voucher, plus another $20 voucher and $15 cashback via Shopback.
The eBay voucher is a worse deal, because you can't stack anything with it.

I just do the cancel my Ebay+ membership thing and get a $30 voucher each year.
Cashback is a better option for me as vouchers have many terms and conditions and also don't stack with cashbacks.

It'll be a one off. Just like the Annual membership cashback is a one off.
I asked Shopback about this & was told I needed to keep the monthly subscription ongoing until I received the $5 cashback (which I think is 60 days for eBay) so didn’t seem like a deal to me.

Did you manage to work this out? The T&C, in particular that line (Existing eBay Plus Customers will not be eligible for cashback on Sign Ups) is confusing! Is it only for people who have never signed-up for eBay Plus in the past? Or anyone who does not have an active eBay Plus subscription (including those who did not renew recently) is eligible?
@elecpurch: It’s for anyone who does not currently have an active eBay plus subscription. Still tracks if you have previously had one but no longer have one

@Sweet3st: Mine did not track at all. Reached out to customer service to log a missing cashback and I was told that since I was an eBay Plus customer in the past, I am not eligible. I have responded to customer service that the T&C does not mention this. It does not say "Existing eBay Customers with lapsed or inactive eBay Plus subscription will not be eligible for cashback on Sign Ups".
Waiting to see what customer service says tomorrow!

I cancelled my Ebay Plus membership a few months back. They offered me the $30 voucher to stay.
So I said yes.
They then tried to charge my membership to renewal to my original payment method, a card which has been closed and not attached to my Ebay account for 9 months or more. Unsurprisingly, it bounced.
Waiting on a better Ebay Plus membership offer now!

Yep that happened to me. Had accepted to get a voucher upon auto-renewal, when it tried the credit card had changed so it didn't go through and that was the end. No retries, no second chance at a voucher. Sad and annoyed.

I signed up when they had the $5 annual deal, was good timing because they had the $80 voucher offer which I received and also signed up through SB for the extra $15 (approved). So all in all I got a profit of $90.
You missed one! I did the same, there was another $20 voucher to be had as well.
Yeah, I knew about that one but didnt want to risk it incase they replace $80 for the $20. But turns out people who did it got both, wasn't too fussed about it since I'm more than happy with what I received.

eBay Plus have a 5 day tracking window, so it can take up to 5 days to appear mates. Typically I find it comes through within 24 hours however, so it is usually not the full 5 days. Happy to take a look if you get concerned!

If you're getting a $80 coupon, sure…. as it's money for nothing. The lack of private sellers getting rid of things for a bargain is absolute crap, and the number of 'stores' selling crap for way-above RRP is even bigger crap.
It' a business and they need to make money, yes, but they shouldn't charge the private seller so much commission fees. My 2c.

I think I'm having a similar problem. Transaction tracked OK but is still showing as $0 2 weeks later. Have had a Plus account in the past but it expired last year. Hoping GYG can sort but no reply to date. Expired subs have always been eligible in the past and clearly others have successfully claimed this time around.
I think I am in the same boat, my membership finished in February and I was not a member of ebay plus at the time of this deal. I have created a missing cashback request and got an answer from the support that the transaction has not been tracked accurately under their system.

@darkshade: What does 'track accurately under their system' even mean? Either it tracks or it doesn't? You weren't a Plus member at the time the deal was posted. There was no mention of excluding people who had previous subscriptions! This will be eBay changing their rules retrospectively and leaving ShopBack to deal with the fallout I bet!
