  This looks interesting. Need a cat sitter and someone to share the room with.
  Do people still join tourist groups? I have found it much easier to book locally once I'm near the POIs, more flexibility and access to an airbnb host can be of value too, as opposed to hotels.

        I'm quite happy with all the down voting of my comment as it proves what I've known for a long time, namely the deep delusions so many hold about the region. Al Aqsa was built on top of Solomon's temple. Amazing how the re-writing of history is necessary in order to perpetuate lies and cast aside other faiths in favour of their own.

          @JudoChop: What happened in the past is the past, can't change it, and whoever currently holds title or possession of said land/building etc has rights to it, be that Al Aqsa, the Hagia Sophia or the continent of Australia.

  Please list the hotels which would be booked as it makes a lot of difference.. especially distance from al-haram.
