Gaming PC: Intel i5-11400F, RTX 3060Ti, B560 M/B, 16GB 3200MHz RAM, 500GB NVMe SSD, 650W Bronze PSU, $999 + $50 Post @ Enigma PC

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your support over the difficult week we had. Apologies to everyone that was impacted by our unforeseen delays. We will be shipping the last of the orders that were delayed today. We are now introducing limits on the number of PC's we will be offering up for purchase to account for any future issues. We will always hit our 3-5 business day timeline now.

Some new and important things to point out:

  • Dispatch is back to 3-5 business days - We have delivered on this outside of the emergency we had last week
  • Windows comes preinstalled with all drivers, 3DMark and SignalRGB (this was the case before)
  • Z590 M/B upgrade available
  • Premium Corsair PSU upgrade available
  • 3D printed anti-sag GPU support now available (we plan to offer more 3D printed goodies in the future)
  • Shipping cost is per PC
  • If the prices are wrong in the PCPartPicker, please let us know so we can fix it. Someone jumped to conclusions and assumed we were being scammy with our PCPartPicker prices. It was a mistake in the pricing with no intent behind it
  • We'd like to think we are one of the more transparent brands on here and we really do care about customer service. We are contactable via phone, live chat and email

Here's a refresh of the deal from the week before.

LIMITED TIME ONLY - VALID TILL FRIDAY

If any of you have any suggestions on future builds, please let us know in the comments. Upvote your favourites and we'll do our best to accommodate.

If you're someone who purchased from us before, let us know what you think in the comments!

Do you like our PC configurator? We spent a long time working that one out. Please, if you have constructive feedback, let it rip!

CURRENT DISPATCH TIMES: 3-5 business days.

Great deal! Thinking of picking one up seeing as I missed out on the last one. To confirm, this deal will not go OOS? Just that it will be valid until Friday?

    • +7

We can't guarantee it will be up until Friday. We will mark OOS if we run out of stock or if we sell too many and we are not confident we can continue to accept orders and get them out within the promised time frame

      • Sorry, I read 'not' instead of 'now'. Silly me thank for the quick reply

  • +1

Wish you could order without a GPU as I have one spare.

    • +3

You should get pretty close to retail by selling a new unused GPU with receipt on ebay. Sometimes they go for more than OzBargain deals.

Or avoid all the fees and sell it on the OzBargain classifieds.

      • Is a receipt of purchase all you need from used eBay sellers to have access to warranty on a gpu?

  • +1

Is there any AMD chip build deal in future?

    • +6

We are working on it, hopefully aiming for next week. It might be a separate deal or it might be an upgrade path. It will be Ryzen 3000/5000 based

  • +3

Any deals on 40 series builds?

    • +12

Working on it but it is still a few weeks away. We don't want to over extend ourselves and not deliver PCs in a timely manner

  • +2

Why do you charge an additional $45 to apply TG Kryonaut when a 1G tube (which should be enough for at least two applications) is $11 at retail pricing?

    https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33322/thermal-grizzly-kr…

    • -4

would you like them to drop the price of the thermal paste to $11 and increase the build to $1335?

    • +1

Companies often make the most on upselling addons and higher end items. It might seem excessive but there is likely nothing to stop you getting the stock compound version and just upgrading it yourself to Grizzly.

Edit: PC Case Gear also charge $15 minimum postage to my address.

Can get it cheap on ebay delivered from China for just over $11 but long shipping time and unsure if genuine item?

    • Interesting to get downvoted by a bargain-hunting and value-first community for pointing this out. They're a retailer themselves, they don't pay retail prices for hardware, otherwise they'd be losing money on every single transaction like this deal.

Nothing wrong with charging a fee on top of whatever the actual retail price is for the service, but charging > 4x as much, when you need less than one quantity per build seems excessive?

      Why defend this practice?

      • +4

I hear what you are saying and the thermal compound upgrade fee may be excessive in this case, but the upgrades are not the bargain being advertised here and are simply options. Companies such as house builders use this sales technique a lot whereby the base model is a good price but they get you with the upgrades… remember that you don't have to upgrade though and the base model may still be a good price if you accept it for what it is and resist the urge to make changes.

    • +18

We charge that amount as it is a process to apply. Also, screwing it up will ruin things. We take that risk so we charge accordingly.

Edit: Sorry I thought you meant the liquid metal one. Still, we do need to make some margin in places. Remember, you don't have to choose it.

      • It's just thermal paste though?

I'm intrigued as to how its a process to apply?

        • +3

It's thermal grease, so it needs to be spread on the CPU lid.

The liquid metal is a process. It's conductive so if you screw it up you most likely destroy the components and it would void the manufacturer warranty in this case. We price the upgrade like this because if we screw it up, it's our problem to fix it. If you as the end user do it, then it's too bad and you'd need to buy new components.

          • @enigmapc: Completely justified in my opinion. I bought 1g of thermal grizzly conductonaut and it's a very delicate applying it is very fiddly and time consuming. I guess it should be known that liquid metal should be changed almost annually vs traditional paste which is almost 6 monthly

            • @maverickjohn: Change the thermal paste 6 monthly?

It's not a car that needs a service.

Maybe if you're overclocking, but otherwise overkill.

  • +5

Really appreciate your transparency on build times, 3 - 5 business days is totally reasonable.

I would love to see a 13th gen CPU build, perhaps with the 40 series or a higher tier 30 series GPU from you guys. Fingers crossed!

    • +7

We are moving into that space and are working on getting more new gen options so stay tuned!

      • That's awesome to hear, I'll absolutely be jumping on one if it's in the near future

      • Any chance you can share indicative pricing of new gen builds?

  • Why do you use a micro motherboard in mid tower case? It looks like a baby wearing adult clothes

    • +4

We have Full ATX models available in the upgrade path

MATX is generally cheaper than standard ATX

      • If a smaller board is a smaller case an option? Great value, would prefer something a bit smaller though.

        • +2

Shoot us a live message on our site or an email, we are currently accommodating this for other customers, if there is enough demand generally we may offer it as an option

    • +3

      Cost

  • Is there really any difference in Thermal compounds?

couple of upgrades and I hit $2,102.00 AUD :'(

    • +4

Welcome to PC building, better to do it straight up and not like most people.
Most people cheap out at the start and upgrade later, which is much more expensive.

  • +1

waiting for your next itx build

  • I take it the ASUS Z590 ROG STRIX A GAMING WIFI II - DDR4 does have on board Wifi. No further adapter required?

    • Yep and a worthwhile upgrade too. If that's the only upgrade you do it would be ok. I probably would get a second SSD though even there from here or separately 500gb is too little

  • +2

Wow now you have been too generous and actually listed PCPP prices cheaper than what is listed. i got $1430 according to the list and you wrote $1335.
I hope the family issues had all been sorted out for your colleague. and hope things work out well. Good price on the build

    • +1

      Haha how the pendulum swing…

Thanks for the thoughts. We are back on track now! We are also increasing capacity and hiring some actual staff now to help!

      • Thank you for responding to the concerns. Just remember to keep open communication. One message hear speaks to hundreds. Good luck and I hope things work out for you.

  • i want to buy.

but after making a couple of changes i keep getting - error sending request to cart

    • if i dont customise at all it goes to the cart….

      any ideas

      • Try using an incognito window, if it still does not work shoot us a live chat and the team will help get it specd for you

    • +1

      Looking into this mate.

      • i'd changed the MB, Ram, GPU, paste, cooler, and PSU.

Was able to add to cart after swapping from the inwin p75 psu to the 750 corsair.

        • +1

Really weird, we are not able to replicate this issue on our end, just shoot us a live chat message with your build configuration and we will send you a custom link

  • If I order this one, will it arrive before the one I ordered 2 weeks ago?

    • +1

Hi Scott, we tried giving you a call today, but have been unable get through to you, There is a configuration issue with your PC. Please get in contact at your earliest convenience

      • I was hesitant about the cooling upgrade since I wanted to keep the budget as low as possible and hadn't had time to research the alternatives, but after reviewing the modification you recommended I'm happy with the outcome.

  • Looking forward to an Ryzen 5000 series PC option! Are you able to do a package with a RX 6700 XT GPU?

    • +1

Working on an all AMD build option, hopefully we can launch it with our AMD CPU deal soon

  • Do you have any plans for entry level gaming build?

    • +3

This is a pretty good entry level priced build for PC gaming, is there something else you had in mind? happy to explore options

      • +2

There's been a few $700ish range builds from other companies with 2060s or 1650s, or that one kind of absurdly cheap one that had a 3060 non ti, guessing perhaps that's sort of the price point and specs they meant? Like myself I'm kicking myself for missing some of those sub $700 builds with 11400f's.

        • +1

Thats is sort of what am looking for. I missed out on those as well

  • +1

Can I upgrade other parts and not include power supply for given price ? I already have better power supply I can use

    • Shoot us a live chat or email, We will see what we can do for you

  • +2

I would like to share the experience that I have had with Enigma PC after I bought this:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/758616

1 - Their estimated shipping of 3-5 business days? Ordered on the 23rd of Feb, shipped on the 13th March. The PC arrived yesterday on the 20th so coming up on a month from order to delivery.

2 - They installed the wrong cooler, I paid extra for a white one, they installed black. They said I could send it back and they would install the correct one or they would give me $30 ($10 for the extra money I paid and an extra $20).

3 - I went to install my HDDs out of my old PC, but there were no SATA cables in the box or in the PC. The mobo comes with 2 SATA cables according to the Aorus website. They offered to send me two cables. I have not bought a PC in a while but I would think that the cables that come with a part should be sent to the customer without them having to request it.

4 – The PSU cables looked ‘wrong’, the Inwin P75 comes with flat cables, cables in the PC were different. This is because they have supplied me with a P75F which is non-modular and doesn’t have flat cables. I contacted them about this and they said it is a typo on their website, and they have never had and can’t get stock of the P75. So to anyone who has ordered from Enigma with a P75 in the build, they will have installed a P75F. The typo is still on their website at the time of writing this, they said the picture does display the P75F but it’s very small and I don’t think people should be expected to check the pictures of each part to see that it matches the description. Also, the order summary which they sent me lists “InWin P75” They offered me a $20 refund, however, I do not want a non-modular PSU, I want the one that I ordered or an equivalent as it doesn’t have enough connectors for the HDDs I want to put in. The Enigma employee said I would need to speak to management about this and they are going to call me tomorrow.

They also offered me a full refund but sending it back, waiting for the refund and then looking for another PC sounds like extra frustration on top of what has already been a disappointing experience.

I have tried to be as factual about my experience as possible so others can be informed before they buy from Enigma. I will share my experience about what happens with the manager that is going to call me tomorrow.

Thanks for providing this feedback. I'll try address your concerns 1 by 1:

1 - We acknowledge there was a longer than anticipated lead time and we apologised for this. This is not the lead time most of our customers experience and this is completely on us. We take full responsibility. 12 business days for dispatch is unacceptable and we failed on this one. As mentioned in this post, we are limiting sales to ensure we can keep up with demand and dispatch on time. Something our competitors on OzBargain are not doing.

2 - Yes, we did install the wrong cooler. We Offered you a $30 discount. we Also offered to have the PC shipped back to us (our cost of course) fix the issue and ship it back to you (again, our cost of course)

3- We were very transparent in those deals and told everyone that we did not ship extra hardware or cables with those PCs. We have recently started to ship this hardware. As a gesture of good faith, we offered to send you the cables free of charge via express post.

4- This was a typo on our site, We have acknowledged this and we are working on fixing it (it’s not as easy as just changing it in one place and it updates everywhere, it’s a lot more complicated than that). To remedy this issue, we offered you a few options. A $20 Discount for the inconvenience, a full refund of your entire order or we could refund you the cost of the PSU and you could get your own PSU ($80 refund). You asked if you could get a free upgrade to the corsair RM750E. A more expensive PSU. We said we would could provide you the upgrade if you paid the difference in our cost price. The inwin P75F has 6 SATA Connectors, your case can only fit 2 HDDS and 2 SSDs, so I am unable to address your concern for not enough Sata connectors, but regardless, this mistake is on us.

All in all we offered you the following:

For the cooler issue: $30 refund, replacement with the correct cooler, Full refund of your order
For the PSU: $80 refund (with item return, our cost), $20 refund for inconvenience, a full order refund or we could upgrade you to the Corsair RM750E if you paid our cost price difference.
For the SATA cables: We offered to ship them to you express post free of charge.

You said you wanted the following:

We pay for express courier from you to us, We upgrade you for free to a 750 watt gold modular PSU, We swap the AIO to a white one, we ship the item back to you via express courier.

We can't offer you this. Sending via express post costs a lot of money on these PCs. We believe we have offered ample options to rectify this situation.

There is a lot that went wrong with this order, we acknowledge that, but there is only so much we can offer to help remedy this terrible experience.

We are still open to working with you on this and you will be contacted tomorrow by management to get to a solution.

We won't be providing any further comment and will continue to communicate with you directly

      • I have spoken to one of the managers at Enigma PC and have decided to send the PC back for a refund as the experience so far has made me worried about future issues arising.

With regards to: “We were very transparent in those deals and told everyone that we did not ship extra hardware or cables with those PCs”. Nowhere in the original post or in the emails I received from could I find this information.

I also hope that Enigma will contact people who have been incorrectly sent P75F PSUs in their builds.

    • +6

I appreciate your review, although in this case I think the company handled it pretty well and if it were me I would've been happy with the options offered. I have this weird love for partial "inconvenience" refunds, it feels like getting an exclusive discount to me lol.

      • +6

Reading the replies from both sides im more likely to buy from Enigma now. More confidence in their after-sales care.

They acknowledged they made mistakes and offered quite a lot of options/remedies:

        • A no hassle full refund
        • Free shipping of extra cables
        • Financial compensation/partial refunds
        • Free replacement/installation of parts including free return shipping

        +

Responded to Flint’s request for a free PSU upgrade to a more expensive PSU - with a counter-offer to upgrade it at “cost price” just need to pay the difference. Fair counter-offer imo; cost price is the price the company paid for it.

The regular upgrade price on their website to go from the Inwin to the Corsair is $65 - I’d imagine there’d be a significant markup/profit on that.

Only Flint and Enigma knows the cost price difference, but it’s definitely less than $65, could be as little as $20 maybe less. Easy choice in that case.

I too would’ve been happy with the options they offered.

Not being able to offer express courier shipping is also reasonable. Wouldn’t be cheap.

  • +1

Appreciate you guys being transparent about the build and dispatch times (unlike other PC builders out there "YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE")

  • +1

I know the deal's out of stock, but is there an option to purchase all the parts without the case at a cheaper price? Reason is that I just want to reuse my old one.

    • +1

Send us a message on our live chat or shoot us an email and we will see what we can do ([email protected])

  • +2

I bought the last time this was posted on 8 March, and it promptly arrived on Monday 20 March within Sydney.

Came nicely packaged and exactly as described with the upgrades I had ordered. Clean and tidy cables, plug and play.

Always responsive on facebook when I had a question, even before I had made the order.

    • brought the same , got it the same , and was going to post the same positive review :)

  • Bought one of these from the previous deal, and just coming in to say I'm really pleased with the purchase and the customer service from them, there was a bit of a delay with the order but honestly it still arrived in a respectable amount of time and they did communicate this with us, so no real complaints from me.

The PC is so much better than expected and has came in perfect condition, very glad I went with Engima and I hope they continue with this trajectory, I can't recommend them enough :)

  • whens the next deal dropping?
