Decent entry level vlog camera (released Oct 2022) at a pretty good discount. Pros: small pocketable size, 1" sensor pulled from much pricier camera, 20mm wide angle lens, fully articulating screen, good audio, Sony AF, USB C charging. Cons: fixed focal length, no RAW, limited physical controls.

From previous deals, may be possible to price match Sony, wait for cashback or pair with an Amex deal for further $$ off.

    sony is releasing their latest video camera for Youtubers end of March, I suggest you hold off on this one, rumors are same size, full frame 4k 120 uncropped, based on the a7s iii

      thanks for the heads up, I have the ZV1 original, amazing camera as my B-Cam, packed full of features for it's size so will be interesting to see what their full frame offering brings.

      Most would start with a camera phone and then work up. Peter M was vlogging with a D1 for ages. MKBHD uses an iPhone for his auto series.

      No ois i can get, its probanly going to be sitting places for a one person vlogging setup. The focal length is a bit hard though. Less portrait, more wide shots

      The new GoPros are a great option for vlogging imo. Would be my personal pick over this. Worse quality in low light due to smaller sensor but better stabilisation, wider angle, good audio, smaller, rugged/waterproof, easy/convenient to hold/use.

      Webcam feature is a pretty sweet perk. However the focal length is far wider than a normal webcam.
