How to sneak this in without the wife noticing….

    • +23

Put the tv further back in the room or pull the couch away from the tv, I'll look a similar size

      • +9

        I'll look a similar size

        But what of the TV?

        • It too will look a similar size. Good pickup

      • +2

        Buy a bigger house

    • +16

Upsize all the surrounding furniture, picture frames, etc, raise the ceiling, get some platform shoes, tell her everything's always been that size ;)

        I like how you think….

    • +10

Just compliment your wife, she will forget all about the TV.

      • Genius

      • +11

Next to a bigger tv she will look skinnier. Just ask her if she has lost weight when she walks past it the first time.

        • You noobs. tell her she looks fat and she won't be mad about the TV at all

          • @Dex: just tell her..

            "your bum is looking big"

she will continue staring at her bum in the mirror for a long time

    • Place a large fresnel lens sheet behind the TV, this will then act as a demagnifier and the TV will appear smaller.

    • +1

I'll let you know when she's with me. You will have approximately 2 mins to bring it in

    • How to sneak it in? Usually I wait until she is asleep, then whip it out when she's least expecting. Yes, that's the TV I am talking about

    • Easy. Covering her eyes from behind

    • Take the wife 2 night camping, have the bros intall the tv for you.

    • +1

Spent $10k on a Chanel bag and put right in front of the new TV.
Guarantee she won't realise any difference to the tv size even if you were having a 65" Samsung before.

    • you don't need to sneak, just buy her a brand new LV bag then i'm pretty sure the TV won't bother her in anyway :D

  • Woohoo OLED is getting cheaper, I bought my Sony X9000H 85 inch 2 years ago for like $3,900.00. I'm going to have to wait at least another couple more years to convince my wife to upgrade. Hopefully the over 80" OLED's can be had for similar price by then.

    • +5

This is cheaper because its now a 2 year old model though.

      • Yes, and the C2 is brighter, has better burn in resistance and considerably lighter, something like 15kg lighter for the 65"

        • Very very very VERY disappointed in the QDOLED burn in discovery at Rtings.

          Thinking 83 inch C4 in about 18 months :(

      Eew, led

  • +5

This and the Sony a80j really are the business imo. Not as bright as the latest but adequate and great realistic picture.

  • Not available in Vic

  • Not available is SA

  • we all missed the cs 77 for 3450 this morning from these guys!! im not upto date on pricing on these but that seems not to bad for the cs 77?

not a good deal for a 2+ years old TV.
