@gotyourback Awww now us WA people dont have an advantage ;)

  • Please tell me the ebay discount & cap will be going back up? The drop has put me off spending considerably ($500 planned, but now only going to spend $19)

    • Poor Boy . I feel it too :(

    • Hey mate, rates and caps will always depend on the promo itself, so some will be higher than others, for most of our merchants (and in the case for eBay), these details will change often between promos. Also important to mention that caps are per transaction unless stated otherwise, so it can be an option to split a purchase across a couple of orders to maximise the cap for some purchases.

Let me know if that answers your q, I can't confirm any upcoming rates or caps at the moment, but do know that those details are fluid for eBay.

Remember, you're dead to Shopback if you aren't with Westpac :)

    • +5

      Shopback are rebranding to westbac

    • +2

they should be with NAB based off their colours lol

    • +2

That’s simply not true! They’ve just announced a great new deal for non-Westpac customers — open a Westpac account and get fantastic offers via the Westpac Lounge. The rest of us have already taken ShopBack for granted, but you can still get that fresh, new feeling that comes from walking through an opened door

        Westpac can go eff off.

What, til a new bank deal?

        No thanks

Plenty of new players in the game now, I'll give my business elsewhere.

    • +1

I am happy to miss all these Westpac deals.
I only link a prepaid credit card with these sites, because we all know they sell our data and privacy and how safe they keep our personal info.
So No, I'd never give them my "real" credit card details and bank acc details.

      • thank you for your service

      • -1

Sorry, you're saying that they're selling your credit card details? You realise how insane that sounds, right?

        • +3

He's probably saying that each brand he shares his credit card data with could sell his data or be breached. Each small piece of data you share can be added to another small piece of data and cross referenced to form a profile for tracking. Aka progressive profiling.

I suspect his concern is that by sharing his credit card details, it increases his ability to be tracked by more people.

Westpac is legit the worse bank lol

  • Could be worse, could have been latitude deals.

    • A free refresh of all your identity documents is the silver lining. Don’t like that old picture? — no problem!

      • +2

If only they'd tell us who was impacted more clearly

  • @gotyourback question on superswap, is it 10% on total shopping value or any cap?

    • +2

      (($2 bonus cashback + $0.50 base cashback) / $25 SS denomination) x 100% = 10% total cashback

      • Thanks

  • +8

Thanks GYB but honestly wouldn't crack a fat over $2. $5 is kind of the psychological absolute minimum to do anything

  • Thanks.

  • +7

$2? Is this a Cashback for ants?

  • +3

    @gotyourback

Why was Woolworths taken out of the Super Swap?

    • curious to know

      • Well it's a "ShopBack Super Smart eGift Card" in the app. I wonder why Prezzee took it out though. It's pretty lame that they did.

        Lol negged for what exactly?

    • Hey mate, we'd love to have Woolworths included in the Super Swap card, but brands the brands included can change here and there based on an opt-in basis at Prezzee. Fingers crossed that we can get something back and going down the line for them!

  • @gotyourback Any hints on the Target deal tomorrow ?

    • Hint 1: something something westpac customer

      • +2

I would like to start with no Softgoods deals only .

  • Keep the Westpac deals coming, I'm fine with taking their money.

For those on the fence the Westpac Choice account is probably the most accessible, it comes with a debit Mastercard and if you deposit 2k a month (it doesn't have to stay) there are no fees.

This is what a 30 million USD investment looks like, these deals aren't ending any time soon.

    • Nah, when you see shitloads of people complaining…it's what customers leaving your username looks like and that's money loss.

Doesn't seem like a good investment to me.

Give more away, and piss everyone else off.

      • +4

With ANZ with CR and Cheddar with CommBank, Westpac chose to put their lot in with SB. Is it a good investment? I have no idea, I'm just happily collecting my bonuses.

Those who are complaining or pissed off are being unreasonable in my opinion, there's no evidence of there being less regular deals that aren't Westpac only.

  • -1

Gotyourback…. but only if you bank with westpac.

  • +1

    $2 wasn't tracked.

    • same here. See if it goes through tomorrow.

      • Just purchased about 25min ago and my $0.50 and $2.00 confirmations have come through now.

      • Likewise.

  • +1

    Thanks. I like these deals.

  • +1

Anz could do same for CR but CR looks dead these days. Got more money from sb in 6 month than cr in 2 years
