Sony WH-1000XM4 Noise Cancelling Headphones $350.40 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys

390
ATV20

Original Coupon Deal

I know it's not the lowest ever but including 12% cash rewards and 50 dollars store cash with zip, it's looking around $260 for brand new ones and available for pickup straight away. Sounds like a good deal for me especially as I'm travelling soon and that's another $30ish dollars cheaper.

  • Reckon Amazon would price match this?
Edit: Never mind there's a store nearby I can pick these up from, thanks OP! :)

    • Too much. I biografía an xm5 two months ago for 350. I shouldof bought 10 of them.

      • using these for travel and these fold up unlike the xm5s. eveyone keeps saying theres minimal difference in nc between the xm4 and xm5s. hence the reason i bought the xm4s.

having said that, the xm5s were 549 and given the same conditions, that would be 549-20%(discount code) - $47 cash back - $50 store cash so around 340 for the xm5.

Sounds like a good deal for me especially as I'm travelling soon

They’re excellent for travelling. The ANC is fantastic.

    • hence why i bought them, almost bought the sony refurbished off ebay for 280 recently but i guess these are better.

      • I jumped on that deal - got a brand new in box. Dunno how it happened but it still had its plastic film over it. $70 to guarantee new is worth it though.

  • @Spec are you sure you get store credit with zip?

    • it was on the website, spend between 250 and 400 dollars with zip and get 50 dollars store cash. but you gotta sign up for a good guys store cash and apparently it only comes on "store cash pay day" according to t&cs. if i dont get it, ill be taking it up with them for sure.

    Thanks - bought one.

  • I had the XM3 and XM5 and ended up returning both as the band is just uncomfortable on the top of my head (i have a big head). Anyone with a big head have any recommendations for noise cancelling headphones that are good from a comfort pov?

Bose 700 or QC34 / 35 possibly, go into a store like JB & try them out before purchasing & returning.

      • yep, jb had all the sonys and boses on display and i tried them all before settling on the xm4s. the anc on the sonys i found worked best for me but ymmv.

I have these and sadly would suggest you reconsider if you're planning on making calls with them. They do a good job at canceling moise for me but my callers constantly complain about the amount of background noise they hear. Read - after I bought them - that is a common complaint with these.

    • I feel like that's been the issue with every wireless headset I've come across. Reviews always complain about excessive background noise. Same thing with my sennheisers and powerbeats pro.

      • Call audio is pretty scuffed on most bluetooth headsets for quite a number of reasons.

I feel like someone needs to go around A/B testing call quality in combination with the Pixel 7's Clear Calling option and also newer LE Audio enabled headsets.

        • yep, tried phone calls with so many bluetooth headphones including jabras, sennheisers, samsungs and nothing comes close to airpods and iphones for calls unfortunately. no matter how many mics they claim to have. i guess its just not to be.

    • I think that comes with the territory of headphones without a dedicated mic, gotta be some pretty nifty tech to cancel out surrounding noise but not your own voice.

  • cashrewards has tracked for 458 interestingly.
