  • How does it take to go from 0 to 32 PSI? Is it too noisy?

    • +4

Long and yes its a tyre inflator they are all too noisy

    • +2

Only just bought it, can't really comment much on how noisy it is but I suspect it will be fairly noisy and may need to put something soft to pad it out. 32PSI on car tyres? Probably not too long, someone on the review section mentioned they pumped up their Mercedes Sprinter tyre from 0 to 32PSI in 15 mins, pretty good I think.

    • +5

My Xiaomi version that looks pretty much the same took about 5-6 minutes to go from 4-32 PSI on my flat Mazda 3 tire.

  • Thanks OP. Got one. Hope this lasts long. I have a Xiaomi model which doesn't charge anymore.

    • that is why I get a 12v Air Pump and it is powered by a power bank jumper :)

But have you think about to replace the battery yourself?

  • Is this overkill to inflate today pool floaty things lol

    • +6

Wrong pressure. You need a high volume, low pressure, pump.

  • Showing 18.2 for me
    What am I doing wrong?

    • +1

Oops you’re right. My account has some coins to use for further discount, in this case I had .82 discount. I’ll edit the pricing..

      • Got one. Thanks

  • +1

This good to just pump footys and basketballs? Seems like it'd be nice and compact and easy to use for a quick job.

    • Drfinitely what they'd boss at.

As others have said, takes a little while to pump a flat tyre up but it's there if you really need it!

  • Anyone had this long term and can comment on quality? My Xiaomi 1S pump just died on me after about a year with only slight usage.

    • +3

That's why I'm skeptical with these powerbank air pumps, in the bin after a couple years just like phones. Foot pumps are fairly compact these days.

    • My Xiaomi pump is still going, but battery is loosing its charge capacity.

    • +1

Did you store it in the car?

Extreme cycles of temperature can significantly degrade the longevity of most lithium batteries

      • Thanks for the info. I always keep Xiaomi pump in the car. The battery is almost dead now. Now I understand why. I will not leave this new pump in the car now. Hope it will last long.

      • No, stored it inside most of the time, as it was mainly used for bicycle tyres.

I took it apart this afternoon, to see if there was anything overtly wrong. Batteries still hold a charge and the pump still worked, so looks like the electronics just got fried.

  • Can't resist this time. Bought one. Thanks OP.

  • Does this with with a presta valve?
Does the tube rotate or you have to rotate the entire pump as you tighten over the valve?
    Thanks

  • Shows $29.65 for me?

Can't seem to get any cheaper. I've just opened AliExpress account, an I missing something obvious?

    • +1

Try going to checkout notice dropped when I did that.

      • Hmm, still shows $28.28 on checkout page.

How do I get $25.96 as per post?

        • +1

          Change the currency to usd
Then pay with your fee free card

  • If you are putting it in a bag to take with you, check it won't accidentally turn on in your bag such as power button is pressed.

The Xiaomi only turns on when you pull out the hose you connect to the valve. The Baseus pump I have only needs the power button pressed, which means I am unable to put in a bag etc, as it will turn on, then if start button is pressed in the bag it starts working. This means I never take the Baseus pump with me.

    • Good to know but doesn’t sound too difficult to avoid. Put it in a separate compartment of your bag otherwise keep in a hard cardboard box then just toss it anywhere.

Does this pump push bike tyres?

    • Yes.
2/7 picture (swipe left) indicates car, bike, balls, motorcycle modes.
4/7 picture shows a bicycle tyre.

  • +1

I be more interested knowing how accurate (psi) it measures …..

  • Does this have a deflate button as well?

    • +1

Can’t you always deflate it with your finger or a something pointy like a key etc?

      • Yeah but then you don't know what pressure you're deflating to

        • +1

Deflate it enough to then pump it up again to your desired pressure?

          • -2

@wtfnodeal: Annoying af, which is why I asked if it has a deflate button rather than for people's opinions on whether or not deflation button is needed

            • -1

@ozbargainjimmy: Yeah almost as annoying as the manufacturer has overestimated the IQ and EQ of some minority individuals in believing the workarounds for deflating tyres to the desired pressures are simple and straightforward. Hang in there, I am going to write to the manufacturer to complain that at this price point there should be SOS buttons included so daddies and mummies could come to help their babies to deflate the tyres.

  • what type of battery does it use? replacable?

  • +1

Hmm I’m pressing buy now, go through payment etc but nothing happens. Anyone else having issues? No add to cart button for me either.

  • Cheers OP. Grabbed one.

  • Can you only buy one ? I want to buy one for my Dad too and it says coupon already use .

  • Mine says it won't ship to Australia?

  • No longer available

  • I received mine yesterday and tried it and surprisingly ok. Top up tyre pressure, pretty simply to use without reading the menu. The best thing with this unit is it also comes with an adaptor for me to pump my road bicycle tyres. Took 1-1.5 mins from 15 psi all the way to 96 PSI. Only hoping the battery will last as usually within 2 years, they tend to died off
