      Yes, that's correct.

Sorry, I just saw the ending date in the post 🙈

  • I might have to pick up the TCN Kids card to use at JB Hi Fi during their B1G1F sale next month that's if you can convert it to JB Hi Fi vouchers

    • Do you know what dates the b1g1f starts and ends out of interest

      • Usually or always around 20th or 21st of May and lasts 5 days

    • You can convert, I converted 25 last night

  • Does Target sells in $100/$200 Denominations?

    • My local target has Love card in $100 denomination but not the Kids. Not sure if this is the case in other stores.

    • +2

Last time I checked (which was a few months ago), Target sold TCN Love, Pamper and Cinema gift cards in $50 and $100 denominations.

I am not aware of any physical TCN gift cards (besides their open-loop EFTPOS gift cards) currently sold in brick and mortar retailers with a $200 denomination.

Physical TCN Kids gift cards are only available in $30 and $50 denominations at other brick and mortar retailers (e.g. Coles, Woolworths), and I think Target also sell both $30 and $50 denominations of TCN Kids gift cards.

      • +1

Correct, bought a mixture of $30 and $50 last night

  • Bloody shame the instore use only. AG LEGO® Certified Stores would have been ok .

    • I think they work online fine, just can't buy the gift cards online

  • Can you exchange these to jb hifi card the kids one

    • FAQs @WookieMonster is the master of knowledge on gift cards.

    • +2

      Currently, yes.

If you go to the TCN Kids webpage on the TCN website (linked in the description), scroll down to How to Use and select JB Hi-Fi from the dropdown list, you will see Instore and Online as redemption options. For physical TCN Kids gift cards (such as the ones in this deal), Online actually refers to exchanging the balance of a TCN Kids gift card for a digital JB Hi-Fi gift card. If you click/tap Proceed, you can then follow the prompts to actually do the exchange.

If there was no mention of an Online redemption option after selecting JB Hi-Fi from the dropdown list, it would mean that you cannot do an exchange.

  • not sure if this is the best place to ask, but can you use the Kids card to buy a new Xbox Series X console through the XBOX/Microsoft store, so one can claim the Shopback as well?

    • so this is probably not worth it, but i found the following T&C on the TCN website, might helps others:
*Limit of 1 Gift Card code per transaction on the Xbox website.

So i guess there goes my idea of trying an extra 5% off! haha

Anyone able to share experiences on buying $800 worth of TCN Kids to use at JB Hifi? Looking to save 10% on a PS5.

    • You should be able to do that easily. Convert these cards to JB gift cards and use them on their JB's website.

    • Target POS only allows 10 cards in a transaction. Whether or not your get more (in follow up transactions) is up to the discretion of the cashier / their manager.

JB Hifi has no limits on the number of cards you can use.

  • I would like to buy lego from the AG lego store, so just to clarify

You need to purchase the initial cards in a target store to get the 10% off discount.

Then I have to use the cards in a physical AG lego store to make them work? (not the AG lego website)

    • You need to purchase the initial cards in a target store to get the 10% off discount.

      Yes.

Then I have to use the cards in a physical AG lego store to make them work? (not the AG lego website)

According to the TCN Kids webpage, that is correct.

Thanks OP, saved me $100 on a new DJI mini 3 pro.
Had to go to a couple Targets to find stock of the $50 kids card, and had to buy across a couple transactions as the Target POS only allows 10 cards per transaction.

  • Is it normal to not find any stock? I guess it is because the sale is almost over? I rang the stores near me and apparently they don't have a single one.

    • +1

I think the reasons for you struggling to find stock are that the sale has been running for a few days at this point and it is unlikely your local Target stores have received much new stock (if any) in that timeframe.

I am not entirely sure how your local Target stores replenishes its third-party gift cards, but it is either of the following:

      • A gift card distributor mails in new stock to the store via a courier.

      • A person is sent by a gift card distributor to a store with a bag full of new gift cards and is tasked with putting up new stock on the shelf.

I have seen the latter done by someone dropping off fresh stock of TCN gift cards at a metropolitan Coles supermarket (and they had a Visitor sticker on them, plus they were carrying heaps of TCN gift cards in a Woolworths freezer bag, so I knew this person was not a Coles employee)… so maybe this is how TCN will replenish their gift cards at your local Target stores?

Either replenishment method would also be affected by the fact that there have been two or three public holidays so far during this promotional period (and another one tomorrow, plus Tuesday is also sort of a public holiday in TAS), so I reckon it will be difficult to get fresh stock in before the deal ends.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I actually just went to the Gold Coast and found two stores that have plenty. At the first store I got told the limit is 10 per customer per day. I asked if I could get 10 $50 ones and 10 $30 ones but was told I can't.

The lady at the register was very confused that a $50 gift card is scanning at $45 so she made me wait until she could double check why it is $45.

  • Can you use Target gift cards to buy these gift cards?
