    Does injector cleaner work or is it just a waste of money?

      It works for newer cars and will work for older cars if you have previously used it regularly to keep your fuel system clean. If this is the first time you are using it and your car is more than 5 years old, it will clean the gunk off your petrol tank and transport it to the fuel system and the gunk will block the tiny fuel lines and fuel injectors of your car.

      So either you use it regularly (every 6 - 12 months) since new or do not use it at all.

        Good to see someone believes that the snake oil works.

        You may as well tip a cup full of metho into the tank it does the same job (thins out the mix)

      I bought some of this for my car which needed its injectors cleaned but got no benefit. Had to take it to a mechanic where they can properly clean them and after that, the car was like new.
      I'm sure this stuff helps, but if you truly have an injector problem, just get it cleaned at a mechanic.

      what you do is at the petrol station you asked the attendant if you can access the fuel tanks then empty the whole bottle in there. then $2 makes it a bargain for everyone. i suggest putting it in e10 so it cleans as well. would make it on par to premium 95.

        Yeah because 300ml of snake oil is going to make a difference to 10000-100000l of fuel
