I’d pay more for new.
My point is it was a clear lie… they could easily say rather pay $100 more for GOW bundle but they literally said same price when it clearly isnt… and people are upvoting it lol
@CodeXD: Pretty sure he/she is referring to the price of the console. Eg. $799 includes console price PLUS the game.
If you remove the game price from that $799 then you're basically at the same price for the refurbished machine.

I got really excited when I thought there was BNIB PS5 with GOW for $698 haha and now I'm severely disappointed.
$750 for base console and $50 for a relatively new game that has not hit the below $50 mark just yet. Looks like a pretty solid deal to me.
Also I wouldn't trust EB's supar refurbishing quality really.
Better yet JB Hi-fi has just the console for $799 and there's TCN 10% off GC which puts it at $719 new

Typical EB Games with their exploitative market practices. This is far from a good deal at this price, might as well spend a little bit more and get a brand new retail unit which will be covered by Sony for warranty for 12 months and the chances of any issues arising from the unit will be far less this way.

Think about what was the grossest thing you did with your hands just before using your controller, and then consider that is likely nothing compared to someone else's gross habit who was desperate enough to trade in a PS5 console for cash at EB for $400 or less.
Personally my Switch, Steam Deck, phone, laptop, and other devices get quite a bit of use on the john. And while I don't care, it's my own business, yeah, pretty gross to think someone's wiped their ass (or worse ;) ) and then picked the thing right back up.
Console is 2.5 years old, launched at 750, I am not waiting 2.5 years to have someone's shit and cum on my remote all for 50 bucks, and neither should you.
This secondhand PS5 price is VERY EXPENSIVE. Take note that for the second owner the Sony PS5 Warranty is void. Not worth. Wait for the price of brand new PS5 to crash after Easter Season.
EB Games are the biggest rip-offs in the country.
Once, a mate of mine bought a PC controller, which broke within 15 minutes of use. They would NOT return/refund his money and told him to contact the manufacturer instead.

In case it’s not clear yet from the other comments, this is a terrible price for a used PS5 and isn’t worth it at all.
This is not good value: Poor warranty, unknown controller history (stick drift etc). As others have mentioned, buy the discount TCN cards and pick up a brand new one.

Yeah I would not invest in anything "refurbished" from EB Games. 2 times I got fooled by them.
1 - They sold me a refurbished Switch that came with 2 very sticky controllers and want to know what they suggested? I buy 2 brand new controllers for the switch. I ended up sending the switch back for a refund.
2 - They then sold me a banned Xbox Series X console where it wouldn't connect to Xbox Live whatsoever and had a picture of a court hammer with a red circle behind it popping up on my screen which means the console is banned. This one was a pain in the ass to send back to EB Games. Took me over 2 weeks to have it sent back because they kept giving me the run around but I eventually got that refunded. I then used that money and a bit more on top to have the console sent from Microsoft themselves and couldn't be happier.
EB Games is a massive scam and I wish they would go bankrupt. Their games are over priced too. You can get the same games from EB Games on JB HI FI for $10-$20 off.
Why would you buy this, when you can buy a BNIB with GOW for the same price?
