How long would it take to receive the system? Pretty sure everyone will be asking this question

    • If anything they should be proactively answering that question in the description in this and the next couple of deals at least.

    • +1

OP's reply in the description if anyone is curious: "The current PC order processing time is three weeks on average."

      • -2

Average is a strong word what about median

        • +1

Median is also not that clear, what we need is standard deviation.

          • @Masticccc: Was thinking of buying another system from them for my son. But last order 17th March haven’t been built yet. Called 2 times given same answer “should be this week”. Parts reserved 20th March. So bit hesitant. Said they probably have too many deals out and not enough staff to build. Good prices but if in a rush I wouldn’t go with them again.

          • @Masticccc: Is standard deviation enough? Clearly we need skewness also.

    • I received my order after 5 weeks. Got free upgrades to an MSI case and an EVGA power supply.

    • Took me 3 weeks to get my PC even with a purchase of Premium Dispatch service. I heard that the backlog has gone down somewhat as they are also working on weekends.

Your link for the "Kraken Mini NUC 110 GeForce RTX 4070 Gaming PC $1599 + Delivery" is wrong, points to a 3070 NUC system with 8gb ram named "Kraken Power NUKE 110 GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming PC"
    Your url should be https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/km-nuc110-4070-kraken-min…

For anyone wondering about my dramas with BPC from my previous posts on their deals, I am still working through getting my RAM replaced with their warranty department. They sent me out some ADATA RAM to test and it worked fine but I couldn't test XMP as they sent me two different sticks… Take from that what you will. They have offered to send me another kit but I need to reply still

  • Hypothetically, if I get the Kraken Mini NUC 110 GeForce RTX 4070 Gaming PC because i like the small form factor and the white case looks cool. I ask for a CPU with an iGPU. I ask for the GPU to be shipped separately because I'm not a hardvore gamer. How much can I flip the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X 12G OC Graphics Card for realistically? Can I get a cool NUC for $500-600 if my plan works? Sorry a bit drunk and this seems like a good idea

    • well they fluffed the options in the selector because the 12400f is a standard CPU and not a compute unit that goes in that case.
So you have to stump for the $229 upgrade
Plus it only comes with a single stick of ram which is poor, so add on another $69 for dual channel

Might be able to sell the card for $900-$1000, but still waiting to see what retail pricing/availability is like - you'll be waiting for at least 3 weeks for them to build this one.

  • Really good pricing on the Air Blade and Centurion builds honestly. Having a hard time sourcing the listed components (or cheaper ones…) for a similar total price myself!

  • Does anyone know if that black decoration on the Kraken Mini NUC is able to be peeled off or not?

  • got a deal on a nice Rig with a Ryzen 5 7600X with no Gfx card?

  • Your turn @enigmapc

I ordered a gaming system from BPC earlier in the week, requested for parts local pick up only without assembly due to the long wait times (will build myself). Was told via phone call, should only take ~2 business days to get parts ready for local pick up. Currently still not ready yet, will monitor and update progress for people that might be interest in the same thing and whether their service holds up.

So far their email communication has been great, very prompt responses without much wait time.

    • +2

Update for anyone curious: I'm really impressed!! In the afternoon I received an email to notify me the parts are pick up (within the time estimate they provided me) and I was able to grab it all after work! All the parts were accounted for. The service is great! I'm really happy so far with the purchase. Now to put everything together over the weekend :D great first time experience with BPC, so I suggest if you know how to build a system and don't want to wait the 3-4 weeks assembly time, parts pick up is great!

  • This is actually a pretty solid price. Nice!

  • +1

Tbh 3 weeks wait for a promo built is just using Oz bargain for marketing and isn't a deal. Not sure why this is allowed to be posted

  • What happens if you buy this and put your old gpu in it and sell it as a complete PC so you can exploit the cheap GPU in the build

  • What psu is in the nuc unit?

  • How about a good deal with rtx 3070 and DDR5 RAM?

  • Just curious about ozbargainers opinion that is it worth to get this kind of powerful high end video card pc with other components which are maybe not that latest or cheap. Cuz the only component I am satisfied with is the GPU lol.

I mean it depends on what you're doing with it. If you're primarily gaming (or Facebook, YouTube, streaming etc), 16GB of ram is plenty, and the CPUs they've chosen are more than up to the task for future gpu upgrades without resulting in bottlenecking. You'll get a better experience (and save money) upgrading a mid-range CPU every 2-3 years over hoping a high end one lasts 4-6 years before upgrading it.

If you are using it for other applications that are heavy cpu intensive (or are playing cities skylines), then you'll likely already know you'll need something better in that regard.

My biggest issue with the Intel build is their chosen CPU (and as such motherboard) aren't capable of overclocking (I'm not too savvy on the amd side of overclocking to say if that's also an issue). However, again, if you don't know what that is, or have plans to do so, and unless you're planning on a cooler upgrade, that won't when be a concern for you.

  • Just pulled the pin on the Centurion and got a extra 10% automatically at checkout with there Autumn Sale.

This deal was posted for $1499. The price is now $1599 so 10% off is $1439. Still got around 4% off.

      • Right you are! Didn't realize the deal had lapsed.

        • Yea it's been a trend that there's generally a bump up in price before the discounts go live
