Blimey, budget at $250. I remember getting a fairly feature rich budget asus board for $80, and it wasn't that long ago!

There's a sold out A620 board for $139 (https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/motherboards/amd-socket-…), if you don't mind PCIe 4.0 there's probably going to be a bunch of <$200 boards available soon.

  • Hoping to see some budget itx boards, espenially noe that were starting to see 2 slot cards again

This Asus motherboard seems to be one of the worst value of the budget B650 boards: https://youtu.be/DTFUa60ozKY
May be better to wait for a deal on the Gigabyte DS3H or Gigabyte Gaming X board instead.

Still with VGA and PS/2 inputs?? What for?

Not recommended - the entire line of ASUS Prime B650 boards are garbage

If you need a board now, get the MSI

Or wait a few more weeks as the second wave of ~$200 budget B650 boards arrive like the Gigabyte B650M K and ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2

I should not have bought DDR4 RAM so early!

It might be wise to wait for 14th gen z890 boards, these have no upgradeability.

      This is AMD, not intel.

    • I mean yea id be struggling to upgrade my ryzen system with intel parts too.
