5% lower than the beginning of the week :(

  • +1

    My watchlist is empty lol

  • no best offers , no auctions…..no bargaining power?

    • +3

The ultimate bargaining power. Ask the seller to make a custom listing for you.

  • 10% +10% oh well, I cleared my watch list when it was 10% + 15% so I guess I will sit this one out

    • +1

      And $3 casback for $30 x 2
Potentially $12 cb for $30 spend

      • Why x2? Is this the perk deal?

        • The perk deal and this (if you haven't already completed it / soon to have it completed).

          • @MiscOzB: Ah got it. Thanks. Yes I had already used it which is why I couldn't see this.

    • This is actually better for me this time . Last deal with the 5% more ended up with 3% off Ebay Cards . This one I have unlimited 10% off cards to play with .

  • +1

Can I use my monthly $5 promo code?

  • "Items with Best Offer accepted prices and Auctions are NOT eligible for cashback"

What about if they send me an offer??

    • +5

      Is it the Godfather?

    • Doesn't matter, cashback won't track.

  • Will PLUSITUP code work for ebay upsize and bonus cashback

    • +1

Not a listed code so no (only APRL15 and APRL17 are listed).

      • So if I use APRL15, I can still get 10%+10% cashback? That sounds great!

      • Are Aprl15 & 17 lised on Shopback? Haven't seen that.

  • Waiting for my Westpac card to be delivered, finally caved! Anyone know if I can use my debit digital card from the app?

    • +1

      I did.

    • +2

Yes you can use the digital card details from the app. The card number and expiry is the same as your physical card, only that the CVV changes every 24 hours. From my experience, this doesn't impact my bonus cashback.

Make sure to add the card to shopback first and when shopping, to pay directly with the card and not with paypal

    • -1

Which is the best account type to use? I looked at the debit card, but the monthly fees just don't seem worth it.

      • They have a Flex credit card with zero fees. Applications only work if you bank with one of their listed banks (check the FAQ. I learnt the hard way). They also have the Low Rate card which gives you 5x $50 cashback for the first five months of $1000 spend. I think first year $99 fee is waived too.

      • +2

I just opened the basic account with a debit card. I then created a scheduled payment that does a $2k deposit into the account on a set day each month and then another to move it back out the next day

    • +1

if you got the number then thats all you need

  • Can the Shopback rep reply to my DM about Expedia rejecting my cashback thx very much

    • I had issues with my Expedia cashback as well. The rep suggested to reply back to the rejection email and follow the standard escalation process. I got my case resolved in less than 48 hours

    • Hey mate, sorry for my delayed replies, got a massive backlog of DMs and trying to stay on top of a lot of comments here as well, but am doing my best and get back to you ASAP. I will say, reivaxX's advice is a good port of all, as we can contest the rejection and try and escalate further for you if you ask us to via email.

  • Can we get confirmation using the APRL codes is Ok? My cashback + bonus cashback is still at zero from earlier this week after using the APRL codes - is shopback still rectifying this?

    • Its in the same position as the previous deal where I use APRL17 multiple times that tracked with no problems.

  • +1

Anyone know if cashback works on US $ ebay items purchased on ebayAU?

    • +1

Yep, that's all fine, international sellers are fine provided it's available on the eBay Australia webiste.

      • Bought something GBP £ on ebayAU (paypal) definitely surprised if end up with 10% back…

  • @gotyourback can you please confirm APR17 code is still eligible for the full cashback?

    • Hey mate, sorry just been working with the team to get clarity on this one, bare with and I'll update here ASAP.

      • +7

        @nubzy @lostgoat @Sydney-bargainhunter @Ping pong @MiscOzB @selinamo

Hey mate, got the update from the team here. So we have been having some issues with the use of these codes meaning that some orders have tracked at 0% Cashback, and due to these issues we will unfortunately have to remove them from our website/app as a stackable code.

However, as these codes have been live on site, we will be removing them at 2pm and honouring any purchase made before 2pm that is affected by the issue and manually adding in the Cashback for the purchases that are affected by this issue come next week, meaning if you shop using these codes before 2pm AEST, you will receive the Cashback here.

Sorry for the trouble here mates, doing my best to forge a middle path best for you guys as well as eBay here. Let me know if you have any q's.

        • Many thanks GYB I will place my orders with codes now

        • So in a nutshell we have till 2PM to fire APRL15 and APRL17 and you guys will pay out ?

        • Hi, put in an order at 12:25 that never tracked. Submitted a missing cashback claim and it's still Pending/Calculating until today. Is this normal?

          • +1

@xrailgun: Hey mate, sorry for the delay here, this process can take some time as often we're waiting to hear back from the store to get the purchase approved and tracked. Should you not hear back by the end of the coming week, shoot me a Dm and I'll chase this up for you.

  • I personally won't go to the 17% code until the last hrs.
Too many target that are much better value elsewhere .

  • Will cashback still work if you request a total from seller?

    • +1

Any "Best offer" price will invalidate Cashback, so that sounds like it will I'm afraid.

      • +1

If you purchase via the buy it now price and not the best offer function, will the Cashback track? Ie is it only in the setting of negotiating on the price via the best offer function that the cashback won't track?

  • Maybe I'm a bit slow but this seems very confusing to me (compared to other cashback providers)

There's an item I'm interested in getting from a regular seller (so not an ebay store or anything) it's buy it now from the UK but bought via ebay aus. Is that eligible if I click through properly? Can I use the ebay plus PLIDFY postage discount code as well?

    • +1

Hey there mate, sorry for the confusion, happy to clarify.

International sellers are fine to purchase from and receive Cashback, provided you click through and shop at the eBay Australia website.

That code unfortunately is not stackable with Cashback, I'm afraid, Stackable codes are listed in the "Promo" section of the eBay page our website/app. Do note that the codes listed there are temporary and won't be valid for use after 2pm due to an issue with the codes, but user before 2pm is fine, feel free to scroll up for more info on that in my comment above.

Let me know if you have any other q's here, happy to help!
      GYB

      • thanks for the response clearing things up. does total include gst or is it after gst?

        • Cashback is generate excluding GST + postage, it'll be 10% of the non-GST amount.

  • -1

Purchased 1 hour ago and still not tracked

    • +1

eBay's tracking gets done in batches, so will like get done sometime in the next 24 hours, but they do have a 7-day tracking window so it technically can be added in within 7 days of your purchase time, so don't stress as yet.

  • Just wondering if Ebay gift card payment eligible for this offer?

  • Received my base cashback but not Westpac. Has anyone received their Westpac bonus yet?

    • Yup, received mine when ISP organised the trio purchase

      • +1

Mad, thank you! I'll have to follow up with SB then :(

        • My first time purchasing from eBay via ShopBack/Westpac. They are both tracking at $0.00. Meant to be $3 each. Is this normal? The third one - 10% discount is tracking correctly and first to show.

          • @trixieb: Usually it tracks at the correct amount. Did you use a promo code? Otherwise might need to escalate to ShopBack

    • +1

Also had my base purchase cashback track but not the Westpac one or the bonuses listed in the post that I activated.

      • Thanks for the reply! Glad that I'm not the only one. My bonus challenge did track though

  • FYI I used the approved coupon code and regular cash back tracked with ‘Calculating’
