I got one for camping. It's nice to get out in the great outdoors.

I just got a foldable one on eBay. It's basically a stretchable sheet with a black border and some eyelets.

Fits under a 4x4 awning well and keeps kids occupied while I do dinner and drink beer.

        • And the kids of course watch nature videos 😉

  • Video Resolution (Pixel): 854 x 480
    Brightness: 100 ANSI lumens

While a cheap Chinese import comes with it's own risks I ended up with a 1080p projector for $120 and the quality is great. I've had a movie playing on the side of my house roughly 6m X 4M and it looks clear enough to enjoy, in fact better clear enough, it looks great.
I'd rather risk $120 than $500 on those low specs.

Anyone got some more details about what makes this device great?

I like the form factor, and i'm not one thats that fussed about 4k over 1080p, but virtually SD output at up to 100" does not sound great.

    • Size of a can.
      Built in battery and speakers.

  • Pardon me, but what is this? I thought first, well that’s an expensive cup!

    • I thought it was a Bluetooth speaker haha.

    3 hr battery life
Good speaker (can be used as standalone BT speaker)
Android OS with official Google support

    Anker Nebula Capsule 3

    https://youtu.be/jVbM0fR-jTQ

    • FYI the Capsule 3 is a completely different product to the one the OP listed. It's much better but also at a much higher price (JB selling it for a crazy $1800!, $799 in the US and often a couple of hundred less on discount)

      • Had some travelling rep with a capsule 3 recently (not selling the capsule) who did a presentation with it. I was really impressed. Not $1800 impressed, but it was pretty amazing picture and sound for such a small device.
