Been using Griffin iMic for several years (Windows) for great quality sound, through my HD595s.
Plugged into my Chinease:) tablet, you discover there is no workable interface. (AFAIK Google Inc has made no progress in the realm of Audiophile. It needs to step up.)
- Just out of curiosity….have owners with MacBook and the like bought "imic" to raise their sound, OR, is Apple's onboard card already "top-notch" unable to be improved?

We have the iPad 2 Survivor! If you don't mind the thickness it puts on the iPad, it makes it bloody safe. We have two boys 5yo and 15month yo and they give it hell but the iPad has not been damaged at all, you can pull the iPad out and it still looks brand new. Best extra $100 we have spent!
