Time for another one. The actual product they were showing off in Zoom looked pretty good when I watched a few bits.

      You have another work email.
Cant be the same workplace as first one

      • About 7 other company names I can choose from ;)

        • And different addresses?

          • @impoze: Yes. Different states too.

        • -1

Hook us up with one lol

        • @Clear How do you get so many work email? Please help me too. :)

          • @enghone09: By working for a company with multiple locations around the country? :P

            • +3

              @Clear: just use https://temp-mail.org/en/
also fyi, for email address, you can use + symbol to make multiple email address.
              for example
              - [email protected]
              - [email protected]
              - [email protected], and so on.

              • @Anth0ny: Using the + trick isn't necessary when you don't get spam from them 😉

                • +1

@Clear: You do get spam from these guys. I signed up for a Webinar to get the yeti mug and forgot to attend it, had a sales call where I admitted to the guy I only registered for the free mug haha. Over the last couple months have gotten emails from a "dedicated sales member" that is very keen to chat to me about how they can work with my physical security rollout.

                  • @Agret: Perhaps because I agreed to have a camera sent? I have a genuine interest in the product.

    • did you ever get your yeti? comments are full of people saying they never recived them on ig

      • Yep this week. How many of those signed up but didn't attend I wonder?

      • +3

You have to actually attend and use a work email

      • +1

I got mine, I find it to be just a smidge too small haha

      • Went for the first one and still haven't received mine. They called after I registered to arrange for a demo and I said not interested mebbe this is why.

        • Use a random number.

They sent me a few emails but that have gave up on me

It is awesome - just not sure if I'm ready for "security cameras on subscription" kind of model.

They were looking into my company to partner with them but it's a very tough sell. Decent Axis/Bosch or the like and NVR works out FAR cheaper than $199 per year per camera PLUS cost of hardware.

But get the free mug for sure.

      • I hadn't looked into the pricing model yet. No discounts for having multiple cameras? Just $199 per year per camera each?

        • +1

I only had a quick look

          https://www.verkada.com/au/pricing/#dome-series-indoor

Says license PER camera per year with discounts for multiple years (10 years works out at $180).

I know you can have multiple users and archive without limits so that's a good thing and the cameras have 10 year warranties but yeah. The ongoing costs are a little hard to swallow I think?

  • Where do you put address for delivery?

    • After webinar , they send a link to the registered work email address to confirm gift and delivery address

  • +2

Will you get the mug if you use gmail.com email? I'd say no?

Update: you will NOT get the mug if you use gmail, source

  • so around 2 weeks to get the mug.. hmmm interested. i mean i can just block their address if they send some junks later…

  • It seems they change the Rambler that will be given to us. shorter and wider.

I think they'll give us the low ball stackable Rambler instead.

    • Variety, nice

      • smaller….

        no deal

        • different uses,

this one seems more suitable for coffee and stackable

  • I just got a call from this mob…

    • +1

Why did you use your real phone number lol

      • +1

I guess if when they call to confirm otherwise they may cancel your interest

      • +1

  • I just tried to register for it halfway through the meeting. Haven't got the attendance link, can someone message it to me?

  • +1

Anyone else not receive any follow up email after the meeting for the mug?

    • yep! me :(

    • Same here. Although I did get a call from them asking about the zoom meeting.

  • Received an email from Megan asking if I want to test their camera for 30 days. No mention of Yeti…
When did you guys receive your email?

  • received the mug today, Sydney

  • Received mine today, Gold Coast. It is the “slim” design version rather than the stackable one shown in the webinar.

  • mug arrived, and got the original Rambler

  • +1

Received my mug. It looks bit smaller but it’s nice. Wife is attending the next one.

  • +1
  • Never received my mug. Scammers

    • I did receive mine. My wife signed up with her work email and got invited but they have blown the confirmed webinar and left everyone in the dark. Not good advertising for them. I bet there were serious interested people too.
