Bankwest Zero Platinum Mastercard No Annual Fee Complimentary Overseas Travel Insurance and No Foreign Transactions Fee

Haven't see anyone post here, must be good if people keep this card for 15 years or so, maybe useful for others they don't know about this card.

Previous long running post

Mod Edit 17/11/24: Marked as expired - From 3 September 2024, Bankwest will be removing the complimentary overseas travel insurance as well as other insurances cover from Bankwest Zero Platinum credit cards.

        • Thanks. Did a Google too while waiting for your source and it's true.

          • @kerfuffle: are you still with 28 degrees?

            • @Homr: Yeah. Went through a shitfight with Latitude recently because I asked to close my DJs Mastercard prior to July 13 and they closed my 28 Degrees instead, which took a while to get back. All that effort for nothing haaaaaaaaa

  • Anyone applied for one of these in light of the new 28 degree fee? I’ve had my application in now for over a week, have called for updates but apparently still processing :(

    • Yes. Had some back and forth proving income but they typically responded to my responses every 24hr. I applied Tuesday last week, was approved on Friday.

  • Hi All, have tried applying for a card, but all i get is the following error message "Unfortunately, you can't apply for this account right now". Does it mean i have to have an account with Bankwest before applying for the $0 credit card? Thanks
