If Sagat is not in opening line up.. I'll refuse to buy until arcade championship or whatever edition comes out.

      • Almost certain it will. Didn't they pull that shit off for SFV?

        • He was not in original SF V I purchased it and pissed me off. How could they not include the greatest warrior of the series. He came added as DLC then in a much later edition

Cool hope they have one for pc

The demo was god awful, I have no hope for this game.

    • yeh the demo was a pile of garbage… noob town.

SF downhill since IV, but capcon can literally serve up hot garbage and SF fanbois will eat it up tryin to turn pro lol.

Sounds like someone that doesn’t know how to play properly.

    • Let's go Justin9mm!!

Btw what was wrong with the demo? I've played it recently, to learn the mechanics definitely better than sfv. Unsure if it's better than IV for the moment.

In case someone wants to buy it, note it's cheaper on fanatical than buying direct from steam.

For one, art style is a major downgrade and looks worse than SFV. Second, it's a fighting game, just like racing games, 30fps in resolution mode is not acceptable, the whole premise of the fighting game is fast paced action, from a technical standpoint of being a fighting game, it could easily do 60fps so optimisation is bad. You can't do a fighting game in 30fps. Forced to use modern controls and not original. It's inconsistent, the balance is off. I'm over 40 and have been playing SF since the originals in the arcade. This is definitely aimed at new gamers. It looks like crap and plays even worse. Just because it may have some fancy looking cutscenes to distract people, doesn't mean its a good game.

        • Thanks for the feedback. Ahh I didnt realise it was running at 30fps! Though I was playing on PC, unsure if it was different. If it is indeed 30fps I didnt notice it. Which is weird as I hated it when Tekken in the UK/Australia was at 50fps in arcades, where as Japan and US was 60fps. I'm too over 40 (man we old :( )

Regarding the controls, You can definitely change it (esp on the Demo) to be Original. I'm with you on that one, it must be manual. Aint doing a hadoken any other way.

Would be interesting to see how it fares in the FGC scene. That may explain why I have yet to drop the $$ to buy this yet. Mind you I dropped $$ on RRP KOF and that died down quickly. Was fun while it lasted with them Vanessa combos.

    • I was fortunate enough to play the closed beta. The game is fantastic, really missing out if you're only judging it on the barebones content of the demo.

      • I hope you're right and I'm wrong because content aside, the demo was bad.

  • Oh man.

I have 6 old PS3/Xbox 360 arcade sticks in my closet and now they're too old to use for PS5.

I'll wait until release so I can play my old main DeeJay again.

    • look up 'brook converter' - i've had one for 5+ years for old 360 stick on xbone…i just bought series s and it works on that too

    How is this a bargain?

It's an open invite for people to come and get paid nothing to do QA & testing work for a company.

    • Thanks for your feedback. However if you think it's not a bargain. You can just report the deal and Mods. will decide that.

      • Could you answer my question though.

        How is this a bargain?

    Gadouken!

  • The hell. When did it go from Street Fighter 2 to 6?
Have I been in a coma.

  • +3

    I wish they'd made a SF Zero/Alpha 4 instead.

    • Alpha series is the best.

  • GET OVER HERE!

    ULTRA COMBO!

psyched for SF6….never played SFV coz wasnt going to fork out for PS5 ecosystem after investing in xbone.

even though they shafted me again by not inlcuding xbone in platform development i went and got a cheap series s just for the privilege.

  • Ryu must be 80 years old now?

    • 58 years old (born July 21, 1964)

It all began with, I wagged a lot of classes to play SF2 at the arcade

  • wish they would make the games in 2d again, game has gone downhill after 3rd strike

  • What does it mean by if you unlink the gaming account, you can't link a new account to the capcom account? A bit confusing
