        Man, it is not much about saving $$, its more about those tiny brain cells struggling to hold you back from buying another tablet (read e-waste in a few months) .

        Fortunately/unfortunately, I can figure out a justification or a use-case even in the middle of sleep.. For example, a tablet for car.. So, phew what a feeling once its sold out :)

      I use an HP rechargeable USB-C pen. They can occasionally be found cheaply on eBay. Mine works fine across Lenovo and Dell devices, and should support the Surface pen protocol as well.

      Original MS keyboard will sadly cost about as much as your device itself.

    Mine arrived today went through setup chose keyboard than wifi settings then comes up with a NSW Department of Education screen enter your account unable to get any further.

    Device obviously locked to them.

    Company not answering their phone or responding to emails $199 down the toilet.

    Status update Company has finally replied, I need to return device [with a prepaid send back label provided] for a full refund, obviously agreeing it is locked.

    Very disappointed as unit was in mint condition.

            This sounds about right.

            61% battery on mine even though they claim all units are tested to have minimum 80%.

    Howdy, so this one one of those nightmare situations. It’s looks like the some of the units have had the Microsoft azure system reactivated on them. We have gone back to the department to have them removed again. So of those that have received the devices and have the issue we can easily organise a prepaid return label and a full refund or if you give it a day or two it should be removed, you shouldn’t need to send it back or reload the OS. It’s similar to iCloud lock. If there are any issues please email us [email protected] and we will try and assist as soon as we can.

    Received mine today, its pretty much in mint condition (but the power adaptor isn't lol). Battery usage looks alright, it took 10% from full charge after 15min of video. Happy with my purchase.

    And no pen.

    Received, thank you. Looks good so far. No issues with setting it up. Battery capacity seems to be ~93%. Some obvious scratching on the back, but I'm not worried about that. Bought a secondhand type cover online, will have to see how that works out, should arrive tomorrow if it's finished its journey back and forth across Melbourne.

        Vic. Mine was processed in Brisbane on Wednesday. I have had things get stuck for a few days before, hopefully it will get moving again soon. Had an express post parcel take 3 weeks end of November last year, AusPost wouldn't help, they just kept pushing back the estimated delivery date then telling me they couldn't help because the estimated delivery date hadn't arrived. Then it just turned up one day.

        Yes that's correct. I received on Friday and was locked to the edu dept. Tried last night and it was still locked. Tried again late this morning, and it was gone. Logged in with my Microsoft account and everything is working fine.

      Not 100% sure mate I was on leave last week and I'm still trying to sync back up. Stay posted on the tracking, it's not uncommon for a ULD to get stuck in the Australia Post system.

    Received mine today, the condition is excellent, I need NSW department of education email to login. I chose to reinstall the system instead, after installing win 11 and updating to latest, everything works fine. I had to use a USB hub, keyboard and mouse to install because the touch screen didn't work during the install.
