OZB_SPECTRE_SPECIAL

Good afternoon OzBargain again!

Wow! First things first, I just want to say thank you so much for supporting us over the last couple of weeks. It has been absolutely wild days every day for us, we’ve been working on overdrive day and night. We received so much support from you that we exhausted all ADATA RAM supply in Australia and had to get an emergency air freight delivery from overseas! We’ve shipped most of our orders from our previous deal now, only some recent custom orders remain as we’re awaiting more stock to be delivered. If you purchased from us and received your PC, please let us know about your experience to help others within our community! There are many people that can attest to our service with my late-night support phone calls and instant response times.

Boy do I have a cracker deal today for AMD and non-RGB lovers! An all-AMD high-end build with the latest componentry with a Lian Li chassis engineered for performance due to popular demand. For the first time ever, we’ll be using the Lian Li AIR MINI case with spectacular airflow and aesthetics (subjective of course). I personally am a huge fan of Lian Li products, so I’m super happy to stock it finally! If you’re not into the stealth non-RGB look with the Lian Li case, the standard DeepCool MATREXX 50 option will be available as an option for a further discount! I know I’ve been saying to everyone that’s been asking about AMD GPUs that we don’t get discounts on them and must pay retail. I wasn’t satisfied with just providing the retail price, that’s not the model I support. I pride myself in providing the best value in price in this billion-dollar marketing-heavy industry without compromising of quality or service.

I have been hassling every single supplier I work with to get the best deal on these AMD GPUs to pass this on to you guys despite the marginal discounting I’m receiving with AMD GPUs. This build is extremely well thought out, the RAM we’re using on this model supports AMD EXPO (AMD claims up to an 11% improvement in gaming performance) that is specifically optimised for AMD CPUs and has even faster timing compared to ADATA at CL36. On top of that, the SSD on this build has faster read and write speeds compared to the Crucial P3 Plus! For further future proofing and to prevent any bottlenecking, I’ve decided to go with an 850W 80+ Gold power supply as the bare minimum instead of a 750W power supply.

As we grow together with the OzBargain community, we’re able to pass on further discounts to you! I’ve beat the PCPartPicker retail price by $179, I hope OzBargainer’s are satisfied with this!

To get this sort of pricing, we have secured a very limited amount of stock and if you get an error marking the case, CPU or GPU out of stock, it will truly be out of stock. Alternative options will be provided in our builder if that happens. Just in case it might be a system error, please send me a message to confirm if an item is truly out of stock!

What makes us different?

  • Guaranteed within one business hour response times for email, phone and live chat support
  • We’re proud to offer a fair and transparent price that our competitors struggle to match with a quality service
  • Usage of only premium high-end components with the absolute best value

  • All PCs shipped are packaged carefully – no internals can move during transit as we use Instapak foam that moulds around parts inside along with fragile stickers and tape all over your box

If you’re not familiar with AMD GPUs, I understand this may not be a deal for you. The closest comparison to the GPU we’re using in this build would be a 4070 Ti. I try my best to cater for such a large audience. If you want any changes or have certain requirements, please feel free to shoot us a message on our live chat and we’ll make sure to take care of you like every other customer!

If you get an error when adding to the cart, please try again a few times and it should work. We are experiencing some minor bugs with our website.

Please let me know if you have any questions! Happy to help! We'll be working all weekend including the evenings, so don't be afraid to give us a call, go on our live chat or email us.

We'll try aim for something in that mark when the new 4060s get released, I try not to stock any old generation stock as we aim to provide only high-end premium builds

    • +3

Didn’t neg but $1.5K for a 3060 Ti build sounds like a bad deal

      • The 8GB variant of the 3060 Ti will be A$729 on release. I don't see how they could get a total build under 1.5K without it being a loss for them.

        • +1

          Do you mean 4060 Ti?

          • +2

@FireRunner: Oops. Yeah - was referring to the launch pricing for the 4060 Ti. Misread the comment post and just swapped them out in my mind, lol.

    • +2

Why would you ask for a 3060Ti system @ 1.5k when others are posting 3060Ti system deals @ ~$900 or less?
Or did you mean 4060Ti system @ 1.5k?

  • Any lower-mid range builds in the works?

    • Shoot us a message on our live chat, we could sort something out similar to our previous Phantom deal?

  • +1

Hi, trying to buy a gaming machine for my son and I have no clue. I assume this will run everything that the 4070 GPUs will run? Also confirming that motherboard has wifi built in?

  • Any chance of getting the case white instead of black?

    • For this build we only secured stock for black cases, white was out of stock.

We can sort you out nevertheless though! Shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll work it out.

    • Also interested in white build.

      • Hey Damo,

We can do this for sure, we'll create a custom build for you :).

Shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll organise it all!

  • This looks like a good deal. Genuine question, is this the upper end of ATI? What is a 4080 equivalent ?

    • 7900 XTX would be the highest end. That would also be 4080 equivalent I suppose.

      • How much would that add to this deal?

        • +2

On the website down the bottom you can customise the parts, which includes the pricing for that upgrade. It's an extra $300 to go from XT to XTX.

        • +2

You can pick and choose your build on our website with the builder. There are plenty of options there!

To upgrade to the XTX it'll be $300 :).

  • +5

It's nice seeing the actual parts used for the builds, and good parts at that too.
Had a quick look at your website and I like the layout and the ease of use.
I'm only after a GPU but would definitely have a look at you guys if I ever wanted a full system.

    • +2

We try to only build premium quality PCs at a reasonable price! Thank you for your kind words.

If you're after just the 7900XT, I can definitely sort you out for below retail pricing.

Shot us a message on our live chat and let's work it out :).

  • First off, thanks for the PC from last build, ordered Sunday, received Thursday and pretty much happy days since. Customer service is very responsive and reassuring via chat and the additional discount with bank transfer was seamless.
Just waiting for keys to the bundled components, I believe Diablo IV and Jedi Survivor (though not sure what you'd be getting for this build seeing as it isn't a 40xx card) which hopefully will be dropping in our inboxes soon!

    • +1

      Thank you!

The Star Wars keys I'm still waiting on from my supplier, won't too long.

I was just about to send a mass email regarding the D4 redemption. It's self-redemption through MSI's website here - https://www.msi.com/Promotion/NV-2023-Diablo-IV-for-RTX-40-s…. They changed the process so there's no unique key to be given to customers.

      • Hmm I got half way through then it asked for a coupon code on Geforce Experience, "check for receipt, email, or physical coupon from place of purchase". Any ideas?

        • The coupon code should be given from MSI's website. Did you register your GPU there for a code to use on Geforce Experience?

          • @Nebula PC: Already sussed this out, but more info for others who've bought recently. I bought the system on 07/05 but the Diablo IV promo started on 09/05. Not sure if I can "trick" the automated system or if MSI will pick up your invoice to do additional checks. I guess I can ask MSI support if they can switch out the Overwatch 2 (up to 08/05) promo for the Diablo IV one.

              • @zductiv: If I could, I'd change the details on my MSI profile but I've already entered it in haha. I might live chat to them Monday, I have zero intention of playing Overwatch 2.

              • @zductiv: Chatted to them over live chat and they changed the date to 09/05 so it would register within the promo period.

                • @mustaful: Have you received the code from MSI yet. Mine is still at qualification under review.

                  • @zductiv: Yea the guy that was helping me over chat was going through it with me step by step and got me the key straight away. I think for everyone else though, it has to be verified with photos of your invoice (it has to have the 4070 written on there and they wanted a photo of the S/N on the card). I guess you got time but if you haven't gotten it just bring up a chat window.

  • +2

Thanks @Nebula PC I have been waiting for this deal to pop up!
The live chat was 10/10 keep up the good work

  • +1

if i wasnt chasing a 4080 deal with the 7800X3D id pull the trigger!!

    • +6

That one will definitely be hard to come by! It won't attract many people sadly :(.

We can maybe work something out on the same AM5 platform with a 4080?

      • I am interested with Rtx4080 because the ray tracing, planning to buy it or waiting eofy deal from your with 4080

      • Yes, please! Before Diablo releases and saves me having to purchase it, too xD

        • Sorry guys, 4080 platform won’t be around for a while.

We could upgrade this build or our Phantom build with a 4080 for you?

          Shoot me a message :).

  • +1

Hi, FYI I think there's a small error in your configurator, the Ryzen 9 7900 is base clock 3.7 GHz, max clock 5.4 GHz.

    • +3

Let me fix that now, sorry.

  • If I purchase this desktop , are you happy to use and install my current 64GB Ram I have in my current desktop and also SSDs ?

    • +1

      Yes for sure.

Shoot me a message on our live chat and we'll sort something out. Are you local to Sydney?

    • +3

Timings aren't as important. You'll find conflicting information everywhere on OzB and Reddit.

What's more important is that this RAM set is AMD EXPO compatible, where AMD claims a noticeable performance increase.

    • +6

You’re linking to a post about DDR4 SODIMMs, not relevant to DDR5.

  • +7

Really liked the write up. Shows the passion and dedication you have for us, your past, current and future customers. Sadly, I'm relocating to London so won't be able to support you guys but have definitely forwarded this deal onto others to show support.

    • Appreciate your kind words! Thank you for your support :).

  • can someone please help and tell me if I should get this one or this one (https://techfast.com.au/products/AMD-Ryzen7-5700X-RTX4070Ti-…) from techfast?

my son wants to play Minecraft, Fortnite, COD.

i am completely new to all this, so appreciate the help.

    • +2

      Hey Mate,

That PC you linked there isn't quite the same as ours. We're using the latest generation componentry and our parts differ. If your son wants to play Minecraft, Fortnite and COD this build and also our Phantom would be spectacular!

Could you shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll go over your requirements and recommend what's most suited for you?

      Cheers!

    • These are quite different computers. You could go the cheaper one from TechSlow and still play all the games listed at max settings.

Save yourself some money and talk to them online and get something cheaper. They tell you the parts you are getting and get it sent out within a few days instead of weeks/months.

    • +2

Seems like these guys use better quality parts while techfast priorities on a really good gpu but other parts are low quality

  • -1

Looks like a decent deal. I just finishing buying components for a new build: 7700X, MSI B650 TOMA., 64GB, 2TB Sams, 3060 12GB, 750W Gold, Fractal Torrent, Win 11 Pro for $2666. Non gaming work machine.

    • +2

That one's killer for a work machine.

  • +6

@Nebula PC you’re to be congratulated for actually listing the brand of each part, using decent brands and also giving options for each component.

I’m a little way off my next upgrade, but with these bundles is there also an option for “just ship/sell me all the parts from the deal and let me put it together myself”?

    • +1

Haha thank you, we try to be as transparent as possible.

Yep, we can just ship/sell you the parts from the deal and you can decide what you want to do. Just easier to list it as a whole PC as everyone has different requirements.

Could you shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll work out the logistics?

      Cheers!

  • +2

I can only say good things about Lawrence and his company, great to deal with. Would definitely deal with again - all the best!

  • Went through and made some upgrades (CPU+ CPU Cooler + MOBO + Graphics + PSU)
Upgrades with the discount on your site comes to: $3,103.00

    Comes to: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/rp2CjZ ($3048.00)

Any chance you could beat the pcpartpicker pricing?

    • +2

Ah sadly it's the way the discounting works for some parts. We purchase parts bulk with our advertised prebuilds, for some upgrades we are not getting significant discounts. For the best possible value, I always recommend buying the advertised as-is model.

I think you've got the wrong cooler on there as well, we don't stock the ZERO one, it costs more. The motherboard has definitely changed in price as well, I'll negotiate with my supplier to reflect this new price.

If you're after the XTX model and tomahawk mobo, shoot me a message on our live chat I will make sure to beat the PCPartPicker price.

  • Just wondering
What is the warranty like if this is upgraded to a 7800x3d with EXPO enabled?
    Still covered?
Is the bios upgraded and tested?

    • +1

We install all necessary drivers and update the BIOS version before shipping. We also enable AMD EXPO.

It will not void warranty as this PC is built to have AMD EXPO enabled.

      • +1

        @Nebula PC respect!

  • Any chance we can swap the GPU to a 4000 series NVIDIA? Say like a 4070ti?

    • I have MSI in stock for those ones. Our Phantom build has the 4070 and 4070 Ti GPUs.

This one is an AMD build.

Shoot me a message on our live chat and we’ll organise this for you :)

  • Do you upgrade already built machines. I'm in Sydney and want to upgrade a few parts

    • Yeah can definitely cater for this, shoot me a message on our live chat and let’s work out what you’re after :).

  • +2

Does this compete with BPCTech deal last week $1999 from value perspective?

Should I hodl ? Not in urgency to buy

Maybe rep can convince me this build is better value? :)

    • Haha, I'm not sure which one you're talking about.

This one has the latest generation componentry, I don't think the $1999 mark can meet that. This deal definitely has no compromise and is made to be future-proof :).

Always best to shoot us a message so we can go over your particular situation!

      • +1

I was referring to this one..

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/774046#comment-13774490

        Few questions please.

        1. What do I lose if I downgrade the case to the other two options?

        2. If I upgrade to 7700x, does the cheapest cooler work ok?
Thinking to upgrade to 7700x because bottleneck on 1440p apparently?

        3. Whats the reason people may upgrade to more expensive mobo eg tomahawk rather than the default?

        4. The windows 11 pro is unactivated so i need to buy own licence right?

        5. Where is pick up in Sydney?

        Thanks

          1. Nothing to lose really, just mostly aesthetics and airflow as the Lian Li variant has a front mesh panel. It's mostly personal preference.
          2. Yes, the cheapest fan cooler would definitely work for the 7700X. They're all better than the stock AMD wraith coolers. There's plenty of resources online mentioning that fan coolers are much better than what people think
          3. Mostly just features like extra USB ports, M.2 slots, design, lighting etc… Some people, they see it as more future-proofed and have longer longevity in usage. In most cases, it's not necessary.
          4. It's unactivated, yes but there's not much difference in functionality just that there's a watermark and it might remind you every now and then it's unactivated. We sell the builds with license keys if you choose.
          5. Pick up in Sydney is 2011 Potts Point.

Let me know if you have any other questions, happy to help!

          • @Nebula PC: Thanks for the explanation.

Now just need to convince me why your build is ~$300+ more than bpc tech with similar specs .. different parts/brands used but want to justify if the difference are worth the extra cost :)

Just trying to educate myself also here with parts differences etc

            Looking at 7700x, 7900xt, 850psu gold, 32GB, standard mobo, 1TB nvme

            Ta

            • -3

@OzFrugie: You make a really good point. I think Nebula needs to start to show why it would be able to charge $500 more than the BPC offer from less than 2 weeks ago.

We all want to support the new kid on the block in Nebula but charging at 25% premium is making that difficult to justify.

@Nebula PC - why can’t you do better than what you are offering, $500 more seems difficult to justify over BPC. Sure I can understand that a premium over Techfast is justified but I can’t see it over this previous deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/774046

              • +14

                @Dauphin: Hey Guys,

I think I've shown why through the parts listed on the PartPicker, you are getting it already below retail pricing (more of a difference in a discount from retail price than our competitors as well) with the warranty and service provided.

Lian Li is also a very high-end premium brand. It's very hard to source due to their pricing and stock is very scarce, we were lucky enough to get some! As far as I understand no competitor on OzBargain has used a Lian Li case for those reasons.

At the end of the day, if price is your main concern I highly suggest you order from our competitors as we have different business models.

Our differences are laid out here crystal clear:
Guaranteed within one business hour response times for email, phone and live chat support
We’re proud to offer a fair and transparent price that our competitors struggle to match with a quality service
Usage of only premium high-end components with the absolute best value
Windows pre-installed and all necessary drivers
Each PC is quality controlled seriously before despatch, we run checks on all components multiple and stress tests including 3DMark and MemTest86 - your test results will be saved to your desktop for you to view*
3 years return to base warranty and lifetime support included on all purchases
All PCs shipped are packaged carefully – no internals can move during transit as we use Instapak foam that moulds around parts inside along with fragile stickers and tape all over your box
Your PC is built with passion, we don’t take shortcuts and keep all cabling tidy whether you can see them or not

Not only this but we're not using the same brands and parts, we try to use tier-1 premium brands only. If this is not within your budget, then as I mentioned in the post earlier then we are not a good service provider for you. Our prices are extremely competitive considering the parts we are using and personalised service. If we were using identical parts and had the same business model, then I completely agree that the 25% premium is not justified.

                • -3

@Nebula PC: Still a $500 premium on very similar components. Seems hard to justify. A 2 warranty vs 3 year warranty hardly justifies is.

The part picker list is a bit misleading. After all you have a RX 7900XT at $1399, 32GB Ram at $225, and 1TB M.2 at $115. Together these are about $400 or so over priced compared to deals currently or recently available.

                  This is Ozbargain after all

                  • +6

@Dauphin: That's why it's a free market, Dauphin, I seriously suggest you shop around and find the service providers that suit your needs best.

That PCPartPicker price isn't misleading, it's the real retail price right now if you were to purchase all those parts individually. It's not $400 or so overpriced, if you can get the identical parts for $400 off retail please let me know now so I can start sourcing from them. It's way below my current cost price and I'm buying in big volumes. I might as well seize business operations as well as I wouldn't be supporting the value model anymore. Our margins are extremely slim and I think you're not quite understanding the sheer value of the parts we're using. They are worth that amount, to some it's not and I respect that.

I can't cater for all audiences in this industry, it's impossible. I try my absolute best to.

I'm sorry this isn't a deal for you, it was for the tens of orders that were made today from OzBargainers!

                  • +3

@Dauphin: Also another thought, regarding the warranty. We provide the additional year warranty as we’re confident on the parts we curate. The likelihood of parts going faulty in the third year compared to second is much higher (statistically speaking), we mitigate this from the parts we use.

If you knew our margins and the shipping costs alone to offer the additional year return to base warranty you wouldn’t be saying it hardly justifies the additional cost. I’m not sure what industry you’re in, but at the end of the day we all need to eat!

          • +1

@Nebula PC: The most expensive suburb in Sydney lol!

        • +1

7700x over the 7600X does not seem to be worth it based on review

          FYI

  • Thanks for the detailed write up @Nebula PC! I finally pulled the trigger and ordered with the XTX upgrade.

    • +1

Thank you for your support! :)

    Ouch, shot fired! 🤣

Just my opinion, should add aftermarket CPU cooler as 7600 runs pretty hot.

We're trying to keep prices as low as possible without much compromise here, if you're after an aftermarket cooler you're free to choose one in our product builder :).

Hey @Nebula PC, been rooting for you since your first deal.

So I wanted to know if you could do a build without the graphics card? My brother offered to give me his barely used RTX 3090. So that's a bit of money saved, pretty much 4070ti level with extra vram. I'm not in any rush though just seeing my options right now.

Above I saw that you're happy to install parts people bring in? I'm based in Sydney, bit of a drive to Potts Point but I could do it and pick up the system at the same time. You'll help carry it to the car right?

I've put together a parts list im thinking of; I used some of the parts from this deal, probably cheaper this way since you get them at a higher discounts?, but have added some changes.

Hopefully we could work something out.

    SAME AS DEAL:
Case - Lian Li O11 AIR Mini ATX Mid Tower Case - Black
    RAM - G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2x16 GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36 – AMD EXPO
    SSD – 1TB ADATA XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade GEN4 M.2 NVME

    CUSTOM:
    CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 7700x
CPU Cooler - Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 A-RGB - are you able to source this? [Would you also be able to use the offset mounting plate to cover hotspot and side mount it to the side of the case?]

Motherboard - Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX Motherboard - … The MSI Pro B650-P in the deal doesn't support PCIE Gen 5 SSD's for distant "future proofing", the Aorus Elite AX does and also doesn't retail for that much more than the MSI pro; is this a part you're able to source?

PSU - be quiet Pure Power 12 M 1000W Power Supply - looking for a ATX 3.0, PCIe 5.0 Ready PSU in general, if you could source a cheaper decent alternative, im good for that as well.

Extra Case Fans - Arctic Cooling P12 PWM PST 120mm Fan, 5-Pack [2 fans mounted on the bottom of the case as INTAKE + 3 fans mounted at the top of the case as EXHAUST] - cheap but good value fans, im guessing you'll be able to source these?

Would your 3 year warranty still apply to this semi-custom build? (excluding the gpu of course)

P.S. Your detailed write-ups really pushed me towards your direction, keep up the good communication.

    • Definitely can do something without the GPU, shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll work it all out! :)

Yes, our warranty covers all purchases from us.

Just reread your message! Sorry, I must’ve been multitasking and skimmed through it.

Thank you so much for your support from day one! If it weren’t for you guys from the beginning, we wouldn’t be here. I try my best to keep everything as transparent as possible with the communication and write ups.

We’ve been talking a lot on our live chat, we’ll cook something up soon!

      • Haha yeah. I was surprised you stayed up past 1am responding to peoples live chats.

I was completely dead at that time so had to call it a night. Fell asleep at my desk watching YouTube reviews of the parts you recommended/stock.

I’ll continue researching the parts and hopefully will be able to finalise something soon.

        • Haha for sure!

Just wanted to give you a heads up, a lot will be OOS after today. I only have 7700X, 7600X and 7600s left.
