If you care about your vehicle, address the leak don't put this stuff in. If not and you want to eek a little more out of it before the wreckers or a rebuild , have at it.

    • You're right. It's a band aid fix until I get the tools to diy replace the valve cover gasket.

This won't fix your rocker cover gasket. Spend the $100-$150 on a toolpro socket set and a rocker cover gasket and do it properly. Don't waste your time and money on this shit.

      • Wrong type of gasket for this to fix.

This job can be done with a single shifter on 90% of vehicles; and a "clearance bin" $9.99 socket set from repco on the last 10%.

The tools to diy replace your valve cover gasket would genuinely cost less than this bottle of goop.

      • This stuff is for a rear main or something, when you don't have the money, knowhow, equipment or you can't be fcked.

Even then, there's better stuff than this and the results are mixed.

Don't try and fix a rocker cover gasket with this.

    • It's usually not worth the money/time to replace a seal in an old car. Also, these products can be useful to keep seals healthy after using harsh engine treatments like engine cleaners.
