  • Decent price and easy with delivery.

I'd also suggest checking out marketplace as I feel the market has slowed. I've been trying to sell a monitor for a while and am watching few monitors for pricing - they're not moving.

  • Good deal

  • Is it possible to mount these on a wall?

    • +2

      Yes. 100mm X 100mm VESA.

What great times we live in for bargainers like us. You can pair this up with USFF and you can have a fully functional Desktop PC for under $250 with no lag.

I remember my parents have to fork out almost $2k for a desktop PC + monitor for me when I was in school.

My first brand new pc my parents bought me was:

    Pentium 4 - 1.7ghz
    512mb SD Ram
    40gb hard drive
    Gerforce 2 MX 440

    That cost around $1700

Monitor was 17inch LG studioworks 700s, got that from Harvey Norman on special for $299

    • You can get decent tech for very cheap now. I wish we could do this 20 years ago!

    • +1

Forget a 40gb hard drive, my first laptop only had enough space for starcraft 1 and roller coaster tycoon (256 or 512mb HDD from memory).

It was expected that new technology would get cheaper than older technology while getting faster and that held true until ~2018 I'd say. Shame how the current landscape of sidegrades has happened.

      • My first computer was a turbo xt. No HDD and 2x 5.25 fdds. A monochrome monitor. but I remember the games. Ultima 4 and 5 were crackers. Lode runner, alley cat.

        • Atari ST here.

    • My first PC had 25 MHz of processing power, so.. I guess that's that

      • @council can you pm me if you still haven't received it and I can have a look

        • @untech PM sent.

    • +1

      Damn, that's super disappointing.

I am still waiting on my order to ship. I have to say I am not impressed with the wait time or lack of communication by the store so far.

      • can you pm your order number

        • Thanks, got a reply back from the chat at 9.30am today.

    • Hi Mate,

Not sure how you came to the conclusion that we shipped it like this. Monitors can break during transit for various reasons. We are more than happy to replace the products if they get damaged before they reach you.

No reason for us to send you a damaged product that we need to replace anyway.

Please send a message to CS team and they can arrange a replacement for you

    • To follow up they sent me a replacement and it appears to not be broken and working. Received the monitor yesterday so took them about 2 weeks to arrange a replacement.

no display or power cable. disappointed.

    • Wait no power cable? Display cable I completely understand - but power cable seems odd!

    • issue resolved

  • Any deals on an edgeless?

    • maybe, no confirmation

  • Mine arrived today, some minor scratches on the screen and a single dead pixel.
