  Sorry I tried googling and I don't know what I'm reading. Will this video card be compatible with a h97 gaming 3 motherboard?

    Yes, it'll be fine. Your motherboard is pretty old though, and I don't know what the rest of your computer specs are, so you may end up bottlenecking performance with your other components, but if your only concern is compatibility, you don't have to worry. The GPU should work just fine.
