    If you consider that rtx 4070 is around $850, we are pretty much paying $550 for this:

      Using the cheapest prices via pcpartpicker those components come out to just about 600 so yeah it seems pretty decent value for the rest.

      On a tight budget: is gaming @ 1440P necessary ?

      Mobo: likely or something in the price of Asrock H610M-HDV. Must monitor the VRM & PCH temp. via HWinfo64, especially summer's high room-temp.

      Antec case: MUST install 2 front fans. This's a design flaw, see my comments below.

      NO overclocking: Mobo & PSU are likely to fail.

      You know how it works; When the distributor has a bit too much of a CPU, or it's been sitting around for a while they think "Better call Luke", he buys em cheap and bangs a few OzBargain deals together. To be fair, current CPUs on the market here are pretty good anyway. They do anything you want, some a few milliseconds quicker. Crap you wouldn't touch like Celeron etc. doesn't even get a mention here and rightly so.

    It comes with Diablo IV as a free game too because of the 4070 graphics card. (activation before 14/6/23). Can I get my game code emailed to me so that build time and shipping don't cause the code to expire?

      PNY is not participating in the promotion and you will not get the game for free.

        PNY will be providing us with Diablo IV redemption keys on the 14/6/23, in which once provided, we will be in touch and supply yours to you.

        So if you do purchase a 40 series from us and it is PNY, you will get a code for Diablo 4.

      Only very few games will have slight better performance on 32gb RAM.
      Mid range gaming pc- yes. Budget gaming PC- may be.
      I will spend extra $50 ($109 too much) for 32Gb RAM myself (identical memory could hard to find when you want to upgrade in few years)

    Does anyone actually have such a system with 4070 + H610 (not B660)? How does the 4070 perform? Is it running in PCIe 4.0 mode?
    I think you can verify from: Windows 10/11 Computer Manager > Device Manager > Display Adapters > RTX 4070 > Properties > Details > PCI max link speed > value.
    If value is 3, then it is PCIe 3, and if value is 4, it is PCIe 4.
