Uber Eats are currently offering $100 off for new signs up to Uber One. I was able to get 4 weeks free trial as I've never signed up to Uber One.

Credit card details are required to sign up. I then applied the offer and had $100 credit added to my account. I've ordered $98 of pizzas from Pizza Hut and just paid $5 service fee. I then cancelled my membership.

  • So I am in a quite weird spot. I signed up using new phone number and email but I can't see anything associated with Uber One in the app or the website. Its like they disabled Uber one membership program all together.

    • Same thing happened to me on one account, even googling Uber One and clicking the join button brought up an error page. Seems they disable it for some accounts.

      • You need to have an existing uber eats account without an ongoing uber one subscription. Signing up for Uber One is disabled for new registrations I believe.

          Not true. I signed up for a completely new account, redeemed the free 4 week UberOne trial, and successfully used the $100 off promo code.

            @the shadow: man lucky you. I don't quite understand the logic that they are using to disable Uber One for some new accounts and not for others.

              @ninohax: new customer = free trial and $100 code works
              already a customer = paid trial and $100 code works
              already a customer (trying to abuse badly) = free trial (uber scam system insta bans u) and $100 code does not work

              If you have an absoloutely clean slate on EVERYTHING, then you can use uber one trial without getting banned and possibly get $100 code. I cant be (profanity) to try because my cards are in the mail and westpac are a bunch of bitches

    just worked for me old account, used uber one multiple times but no active subscription. offer was not showing in my account.
    Re subscribed to uber one, via browser, left it ten minutes , then tried to add the code via the app.
    Success.
    Order 100 bucks of Indian , just to make sure , took all the money out of the account except 20 bucks.

    Says order accepted by restaurant and will be delivered soon.

      Anything that freezes or you can put in fridge for a few days.

      I think asian food where you can reheat in the microwave and just make your own rice would be best value.

  • Store says it’s closed and can’t deliver to me but the store is actually still open, i found a way round and it says “standard 20 - 35min” for delivery and underneath the other option is schedule - do i try it for now knowing that it might get cancelled or do i schedule the delivery for sometime tomorrow?

    When i try ordering the same things from the same store different suburb the prices are higher is that normal? Also $5 service fee is that correct?

    • if store is closed, i really doubt you can schedule for now lol, you are prob reading it wrong, best to just schedule for tomorrow.

        2. Standard 20 - 35min
        3. Schedule select a time

        Says they aren’t doing deliveries taking orders even though the store is still open for another few hours

          • @abjsdhasehasee: Open in real life, uber eats says please select another store the store is closed right now find another store or try again later, that’s on the app but on browser i can see the 3 options i mentioned above

    Is there really a rush to order? It says 14 days validity right? I can't imagine they'll cancel unless they have actually gone over 10,000 activations. Which is a lot. And a fraction of what they pay celebrities to shill the brand.

      7000 ozbargain clicks, + hundred news articles + other sites and facebook etc, + abusers doing tens of accounts. Honestly, im just assuming its already OVER 10000 and they are just continuing.

  • Was able to use an old account (signed up 2017 from another country) , surprisingly mobile number not required. Subscribed to Uber One, applied the code and got a family of 3 Nene Chicken for dinner! Awesome deal! Thanks OP!!

              They just placed an order a few minutes ago and discount still worked.

    Food delivery promote 101…… if you got the promote working in your account use it straight away!

    Even after you claim the code they can still expire the offer in your account for no reason.

    if you see it in your promotion before but it no longer there, that means they had flip the kill switch.

      Exactly. Same as when there is a click and collect error/insane deal, people always put it off and try and collect it later. Then they end up missing out.

      Moral of the story - if you see it, get it.

      Yep, you snooze you lose. After comments from last night I got nervous about this running out so just bought whatever just in case. Had some snitty, pasta and pizza. No complaints.

    My code still works - Guessing if you already have a code, it'll still work till the "expiry". Now if they'll pull the plug is the other question. Better to get like a few pizzas and freeze them!

    The last few comments are confusing as hell.
    What most people are saying here is that applying the coupon BEEFYEOFY is no longer working probably as the max limit of 10,000 people to enter the code has been reached.

    Those who have the offer in their account, and can see the promotion, may still use it till 19-Jun-2023 9:00 PM, unless you've tried to game the system by using the same card on multiple accounts, etc.

      Completely agree with you, but of course, you dont save 100 until the food is in your hands completely. You never know if they decide to invalidate your code "accidently"

        I've had codes on uber eats disappear for no reason so yes best to use it as soon as you can.

      • Yep. I've had similar issues (albeit with Doordash) saying It said I had until X to use this deal.

        Their response is, in a roundabout fashion, telling me to go pound sand.

  • my scheduled order was showing ok last night, this morning showing as cancelled yesterday at the time i placed it, WTF is going on? Can see the offer back in my promotions page

        Just FYI - even though the promo is applied on your account, when you try and check out, it may still come up with an error. I have the promo on my account, and it shows as applied upon checkout, but when I click Place order it says "Promo not applied
        The promotion you picked couldn't be applied to your order". Have tried changing stores and delivery times, assuming its forfeited though.

          • @CodeXD: Yeah when I click on "Shop now" in the promo section, it takes me to the eligible stores. I've filled up the cart with a few different eligible stores, but I get the same message each time upon placing the order. Hope it's not the case for you though

          • @nsingh21: Sorry to give everyone heart attacks - I changed the payment method and tried ordering from the app instead of website, and success! I also changed delivery from 'schedule' to 'now' - so there are a few factors that may have contributed to it. Good luck everyone!

  • Anyone successfully made changes to a pre-order? I don't wanna mess with anything and it recharges at full price or something.
