It looks pretty unbeefy compared to my cryorig H7+ and the ratings claiming 180W…
Not sure if I could trust it for a CPU over 65W TDP..

    Damn good price though

Cheap way to replace a crappy stock cooler and add some bling with better cooling/noise levels

    Grabbed one, thanks OP

I haven't seen reviews of that but Thermalrights are very well received for a similar price: https://www.amazon.com.au/s?me=AXD9OVEUG5NGK

  • Would get one - but then I just know I wont be bothered to replace my partners stock cooler with it. Just like the Lian Li case thats still in its box waiting for me to swap components into lol

  • So this one doesnt support am5?

  • Have one in my Unraid box. Works well, keeps the CPU cool. Easy installation, seems decently well made. No complaints for the price.

It's a pretty good budget cooler. I had it on my 5900x without issue for over a year, although I do get slightly higher clocks now I'm using an AIO.

After spending my youth buying expensive coolers - now as an older pc enthusiast I only ever buy these well engineered discount units (mainly thanks to words of support and positive comments from Ozbargainers over many years). Sure they have sharp edges, are a bit ugly, rough around the edges, have weird fan hangers etc - but they perform as well as coolers 2-3x the price and seem to last forever. When you're building a new pc it seems like everything has to be the best, after 3-6 months I generally find I've forgotten most of the small details that seemed so important when agonizing over the finest details, selecting components etc.

I feel like the fans make the biggest difference on these budget coolers
