OZB_ARES_SPECIAL

Good afternoon OzBargain!

Our huge EOFY sales continue!

After receiving feedback on our previous deal, let’s just cut to the chase and get to it. I’ve done everything I can to cut down the cost on a 4070 build without compromising quality here, we’re still using DDR5 G.Skill 32GB RAM, the latest AMD 7600X CPU and a lightning-fast 1TB SSD. There is no other build on the market with the same parts and 4070 for this price. We've opted for the 7600X instead of the 7600 to optimise performance and reduce bottleneck. I’ve beat the PCPartPicker price by roughly $150.

You cannot compare this to a DDR4, undisclosed SSD and older generation CPU builds. We pride ourselves on our transparency and service, and part of that means that we will try our utmost best to use the best and latest-generation components. We are receiving marginal discounting on the latest generation parts but still passing on as much as possible while staying afloat and not compromising quality or service. The discounts you are seeing with older part builds will be much larger.

Our reviews are a testament to our service

What makes us different?

  • Guaranteed within one business hour response times for email, phone and live chat support
  • We’re proud to offer a fair and transparent price that our competitors struggle to match with a quality service
  • Usage of only premium high-end components with the absolute best value
  • Windows pre-installed and all necessary drivers
  • Each PC is quality controlled seriously before despatch, we run checks on all components multiple and stress tests including 3DMark and MemTest86 - your test results will be saved to your desktop for you to view
  • 3 years return to base warranty and lifetime support included on all purchases
  • All PCs shipped are packaged carefully – no internals can move during transit as we use Instapak foam that moulds around parts inside along with fragile stickers and tape all over your box
  • Your PC is built with passion, we don’t take shortcuts and keep all cabling tidy whether you can see them or not

You are also eligible for the Diablo 4 promotion (until June 13th) and Star Wars Jedi where you receive a copy with each purchase. You will also receive a month of Adobe Cloud for free from ASUS (if upgrading to an ASUS GPU).

Upgrade pathways to the 7950X3D and RTX 4090 are available!

        Hey friends,

4080 prebuild will be tough for this crowd for us, the 4080 still is quite expensive and bringing the price down with minimal bottleneck whilst keeping the parts of good quality will be a difficult task for us.

        • Thanks for the transparency.

Ugghhhh. (profanity) it, pulled the trigger on a monster 4080 build.
Googling around comparable prebuilds with the same PSU/CPU/Optional liquid cooling additions and upgrades I applied still made this one of the better deals, especially with the Ozb promo code.

Denmec90's rundown of the procedure and shipping confidence helped, and it was mostly after watching today's Xbox Showcase that I realize I'm going to need an upgrade at some point anyway.. ;)

          • +1

@Stoibs: In the same boat and bit the bullet as well yesterday. Hopefully lasts 5+ years..

            • @gibberish: Haha that's the plan, for the amount I dropped on this build I don't want to have to touch anything related to an upgrade for a loooong time (Well, maybe I should look into a good higher res/higher Hz monitor to pair with this now at the very least.. :P)

  • +1

What's a good monitor to pair with this?

    • Go for a sweet 1440p 165Hz monitor, personally, I'd opt for something from LG or Dell. Plenty of brands around ultimately comes down to preference in size and design as well.

    • If you are targeting these systems, then you are gaming-industry favourate sons 🤔

      Assuming that you want 27" @ 1440P 144Hz plus, look out for 'stock-clearance-sales' @

      1.Google - shopping-> https://www.google.com/search?newwindow=1&client=firefox-b-d…

      2.Ebay-AU-> https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=1440p+27%2…

Monitors with Display-Ports tends to give you the higher Hz than HDMI, read carefully.

With patience, you should be able to buy with 30%+ discount. Good luck.

Read lots of reviews, especially those by Rtings-> https://www.rtings.com/

  • Is it available?
I tried to check the same price on the website but it was different.

    • Hey Arthur,

Yes, it is. Please make sure you are applying the OZB_ARES_SPECIAL code in checkout, the price will come down to $1879.

      • Done. Now I just need to wait :)

        • +1

          We're on it, no stress!

          • @Nebula PC: Thank you guys. I just wanna know, how can I get my Diablo IV?

            • @arthurbueno: Once you receive the PC, you'll have instructions to redeem and setup your unit!

  • 7900xt/xtx deal coming soon? not convinced if nvidia gpu are better other than RT capability?

    • Not at this stage sadly, we aren't receiving discounts on this model and stock is scarce.

The price for them has dropped significantly as well, you might be better off building it yourself OzFungie!

    • Follow GPU pricing updates such as this-> https://www.techspot.com/article/2684-gpu-pricing-update/
AMD 7900 series will drop their prices later in the year…just like they did with the 6900 series in 2022 & 2023.
      It's either you give-in or AMD give-in.
Your GPUs are the same as 'top-end' 4K OLED 80"+ TVs, but with a 2 years 'stock-clearance' cycle..replacement 8900 series are likely to be release 1.5y from now & gruntier. Good luck.

Kudo to customisation & interest generated.
Comparing to TF deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/775035): with upgrade to R5-7600X, 4070Ti, 32Gb RAM & AIO liquid cooling(required), I got $2,357 TF vs 2,518 NebulaPC.
The different is $161 & a small price for these benefit-> NebulaPC has 6000MHz higher-ram & 240mm AIO liquid cooler, known brand & model (GPU, RAM, SSD & PSU), customisation & 3yr support.
I hope that you get lots of sales :-)

    • Cheers ABC!

  • Can anyone shed some light if this or the BPC version with 4070Ti? after applying a few upgrades in each, 7700 CPU, wifi, 2tb SSD, they both come out to around $2400. But the BPC has a 4070TI, though ram and SSD may be inferior quality.https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/779899

  • any reason why the 7900x bottlenecks more than the 7600x in the bottleneck calculator? I thought it was a better cpu

    • I think you might be inputting something wrong there. Yes, the 7900X is a better CPU. What GPU are you putting there?

    • +1

I didnt get this the other day either.
This is what I figured out.
The bottlenecking comparison is to do with getting the GPU and CPU to operate at near 100%.
If your GPU isnt as good as the CPU - bottleneck
If your CPU isnt as good as your GPU - bottleneck
7900x may show more bottlenecks because it is too good for the GPU you have selected.
It will still be better than the 7600x but you now have potential to run a better card.
If there are bottlenecks on the GPU side that isnt necessarily a bad thing just not optimal CPU/GPU pairing.
I could be wrong but, not an expert

      • you might be on to something but one would assume same GPU better CPU = less bottlenecks

EDITED: you are right… there's GPU bottleneck and CPU bottleneck

I thought there was just 1 type

        • That solves the conundrum gentlemen! Yes, sorry I didn't get back to you guys quicker, we've been flooded with orders. One would be the CPU bottlinecking the GPU and the other would be the other way around.

          Hope that's clear now!

Let me know if there's anything else we can do to help!

  • AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler vs liquid 240mm

    stock one any good?

    • Wraith cooler isn't the best, I'd go for a nice Deepcool fan cooler for best bang for buck and functionality! :)

      • which one would you recommend to go with 7900x? Fan or liquid? what about best for less noise for Deepcool?

        • Go for a CPU cooler from DeepCool's 500 fan series.

  • Bought a similar build from Lawrence and the team, would recommend them highly both on a customer service and transparency level, very helpful through the entire process when looking for a custom spec build for my price range with great continued communication and fair pricing at all stages.

Definitely a team I would recommend for anyone looking for an EOFY build

  • Hi there anyone who has bought this system who doesn't want the Diablo code can you msg me? I'm looking for one. Paying ~$50

    • Hi Cyrax,

Sadly I don't think it works like that. The customer needs to register their GPU with the manufacturer, they will then send them a code. This code then is inputted into NVIDIA's GeForce experience software and from my understanding they will check if the corresponding hardware matches to be eligible. The same goes for the AMD codes for their GPU/CPU promos.

      • Ok thank you. Might need to get the persons assistance to redeem i guess

        • I think it's not possible unless you have the corresponding hardware though! Thought I'd give you a heads-up. For me personally, it doesn't affect anything, don't worry!

          • @Nebula PC: The seller will need to log into my battlenet and redeem the code. Will work this way

            • @cyrax83: Might be possible, but I'm unsure! Worth a shot!

              • @Nebula PC: FYI redeemed successfully :) the seller just redeemed by signing into my Geforce/BattleNet account first

  • Hey,
I'm asking to learn and not disrespect Nebula.

Wouldn't the TechFast deal with a 4070Ti be better bang for the buck? I suppose I can think of frames per dollar and upgradability. Should I be thinking of other factors?

    • +7

      Hey CouponCrazy,

That's all good! We're really using completely different parts here.

It depends on where you're priorities are, if you want the 4070 Ti with DDR4 and AM4 I think that deal is the way to go!

As per this calculation, you'd be getting a 32% bottleneck anyway with that combo that you sent earlier - https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/result/1fE1dN/1/…

      Our build is roughly 7% :) - https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/result/1jb1fl/1/…

So even if you went with that combination, sadly the CPU won't be powerful enough to grasp the full potential of the 4070 Ti!

For our builds, we mostly use branded and the latest components (within reason) to future-proof and get the most out of buying a new PC for our customers. We don't like attracting customers with just the GPU, our builds are all around well balanced and premium quality. You also have the ability to customise your PC in multiple ways on our product builder to make it yours!

I hope this answers your question. No disrespect taken or offence!

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help mate!

  • Hi, wanted to buy a pc with TUF 4080. Will it be availabe again soon? @Nebula PC

    • Hi @shabab1103

Sadly this one is out of stock for us nationwide, our best option is either to go with the ROG STRIX variant or Gigabyte Gaming OC if still in stock, I'll have to check tomorrow.

Shoot us a message on our live chat, we'll work something out.

      • The gigabyte will do. I'll message you tomo. Thanks.

  • I was wondering if the discount is still on as I am thinking of buying this deal.

    • Thanks for reaching out on our live chat Moses!

  • Had my Custom Build based on this deal arrive today, now for the arduous task of setting everything/login information up.. 😅
All arrived in perfect condition with the aforementioned stuffed padding inside :D

Quick question for Nebula, was eligibility for either of those games just based on this unaltered 4070 build, or should I have them available to me too?
I just remembered about them now.

    • +1

      Hi Stoibs!

Awesome to hear. The eligibility is for all purchases with the Ares build!

Diablo 4 is eligible for all purchases up until June 13th. I will send Star Wars keys in the next two weeks, trying to do it in a big batch!

Could you please scan the QR code to setup the PC and also see redemption instructions for Diablo 4?

      Cheers!

      • Hey thanks, I didn't look at the documentation that actually came with it all. That makes sense now and I'm on the redemption page.
Actually could I start a chat with you also? I've got some issues with that process I think :/

        • +1

          All good!

          Thanks for reaching out mate!
