Previous Prezzee promos have been for $5 bonus with $100 spend

Secondly, an assortment of thoughts:
I was unable to use a physical Coles Mastercard gift card as a payment method when I directly entered its details into the credit/debit card section (and this was on the Prezzee app using a Prezzee account that was updated by Prezzee a few years ago to directly accept the old Coles Gift Mastercards). An error message popped up saying Prezzee’s payment processor refused to process the gift card, so I had to go through PayPal to use my gift card.
The $5 Woolworths Bonus Store eGift Card has a three month expiry period, even though the pop up on the Prezzee app and website says it has no expiry.1
The Woolworths Bonus Store eGift Card is categorised as a WISH eGift Card on the Woolworths Money app, but this is only because the app miscategorises Bonus Store eGift Cards. I have tried redeeming Woolworths Bonus Store eGift Cards at BIG W, Dan Murphy’s and EG in the past and (predictably) had no luck. The Everyday Rewards app correctly categorises the Woolworths Bonus Store eGift Card as a Woolworths Supermarket gift card.

For anyone wondering whether the three month expiry period on the bonus gift card is legal, it is, because this deal is a temporary marketing promotion, and that is an exemption to the legal requirement for gift cards to have a minimum three year expiry period. ↩
Thanks, saved me going to use the bonus card outside of Woolies and wondering why it doesn't work. Did think it was a Wish card as I use Money app but now I see it's an 836 card, not a 556 and does indeed have a 3 month expiry.
Reading the T&Cs now they do state "Woolworths Supermarket Bonus eGift Cards expire 3 months from their issue date and are redeemable in store and online at Woolworths Supermarket stores only." and I guess have carried over from an old promotion since they also say "must purchase a specifically marked $50 Woolworths Supermarket eGift Card"
Haha I got downvoted by a few people last year for saying Bonus Store eGift Cards are not WISH eGift Cards.
I stand by that comment, especially since the person I was arguing with never actually placed the order with BIG W to see whether the order would actually go through. There is a quirk in BIG W’s online checkout where if you enter in the details for a gift card not meant to be redeemed at BIG W - e.g. Woolworths Supermarket - and apply it to the order, it will appear as though it will work. However, as soon as you submit the order, it will be unsuccessful (and it has happened to other people in the past).
Feel free to try using the Bonus Store eGift Card outside of Woolworths if you want, because you never know when Woolworths screws things up in an update to their systems and accidentally allow them to be used like a WISH eGift Card…

Yes they can be. Did it when the promo was on and used it on Prezzee via PayPal.
If I add 2 x $250 Coles Mastercard Gift Cards , does it mean I got a balance of $500 in paypal so I can buy 1x$500 GC at Prezzee?
or I still need to buy 2X$250 or whatever lower?@Ethan1031: They just add as cards in PayPal like any other card. When you go to pay you select the Coles MC card and it processes as normal. You can’t do $500 you would need to do them one by one as it doesn’t get added as a balance.
For example If your getting Woolies cards on their portal at 4% off get a gift card to the value of $260.41 which will cost you $250 using the entire card up. With Prezzee you would just get a $250 card depending on the promo.
Re: point 1: I have bought cards from Prezzee numerous times using Coles physical mastercard. Most recently that $150 card with $10 bonus deal.

Meh 5% Wish with seniors discount
That’s a better option if you are a NSW or VIC Seniors Card holder (or have access to one). Seniors Card holders in other parts of Australia do not have access to that offer (even though your comment is suggesting they do), and I don’t know any seniors in NSW or VIC well enough to ask them to borrow their Seniors Card details…
Can confirm it works with digital Coles prepaid MasterCard after adding it in Paypal Wallet when purchasing on Prezzee computer desktop website.
But it doesn't work when purchase in Prezzee app directly with digital Coles prepaid MasterCard

Also for those who are having difficulty redeeming this with $100 card, Preezee doesn't require 120% or any other percentage pre-authorization. What simply happens is when you link your card to PayPal, it does a quick check to see if the card is active and has some funds. As such, if you're adding a $100 exact card and attempt to immediately proceed with the purchase, it will get declined. I'll suggest to add first, then try your purchase the next day. Should work like a charm!

Yeah you're right, the $5 'disguised' as a Wish gift card has a three month expiry. Weird Prezzee didn't know about this.
I only use the Money app but apparently shows correctly in the Rewards app.
Prezzee knows as it's stated in the T&Cs that the bonus expires in 3 months.
For some weird reason, when I apply doordash coupon it shows a 30% discount but the payment is charged correctly with 15% discount.

Same here. Paid with paypal and digital coles master card last week, then got blocked today.
Just tried and didn't work. What do they have to gain from blocking these cards? It is still money, is it not?
I used Coles MC on Paypal to buy the WW giftcard. Paypal deducted the amount from the Coles MC for "pre-authorisation" but I don't receive any gift card. A notification on my Paypal says:
On 16 June 2023, $100.00 AUD was pre-authorised for a purchase on your card xx-xxxx. If it isn't completed or it's completed for a different amount, any pending amounts will drop off your activity statements, usually within a day.
Does anyone have similar experience and what did you do?
*Update: Paypal had returned the money back to the card in less than 24 hrs. The transaction with Prezee never went through.

Discovered I had 4x $100 and 4x $10 Woolworths GC already in my Prezzee wallet. No idea when I bought those or how I forgot about them. All seem to have full balance still. Guess I'll be switching to Woolworths for awhile.
