Multi buy deal at Coles. 2 x 1kg bags of frozen berries for $15. Works out at $7.50/kg. Product of Poland. I haven’t tried this brand, so a bit risky buying 2kg worth of it’s not good. Includes a mix of strawberries, blueberries, cherries, redcurrants, blackcurrants and blackberries, so may be a bit like the discounted Woolies ones https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/772212 where many people aren’t as keen on the red and black currants. Raspberries are notably missing. But good if you like the tang of the currants.

For those not into currants etc the creative gourmet 750g bag https://www.coles.com.au/product/creative-gourmet-frozen-mix… full price at $8 ($10.70/kg) probably represents better value.   I know it’s not apples for apples, but better off buying frozen fruit from Chile, at least that fruits soil hasn’t been tainted by radiation from Chernobyl.

    All fruit gets irradiated as part of the packaging process.

    At least you can usually trust EU to enforce food safety standards, Chinese berries will give you hepatitis

  A tasty combination of berries👍

  Heated 140g frozen berries in covered bowl in microwave for 2 min. Had first sweetened with a little sprinkle of sugar, as red and black currants can be bitter.
  Topped with 70g plain Greek Style Yogurt.

  Delicious, simple treat on a cool night.
  Had 3 bowls today😋

  Will next try cheaper ½ Price Ruby Frozen Fruit Blend (Strawberries, Cherries, Red Currants) 500g $3.10 @ Woolworths
