  Please strongly check the content of a technet subscription before you think about buying one. MS have drastically slashed the amount of content and keys you get in recent years. Torrent sites get new releases before technet does and the download speed from technet is often dodgy at best.

  IMHO it's not worth the price even for those who purchase intending to violate the license agreement.

    Also, as I understand it, you have to renew every year from now on if you want to keep "testing" the software - the keys expire after your subscription expires.

  I renewed on Standard for 1 year and then renewed again on Professional within 48 hours of the first renewal. They upgraded the entire 2 year renewal to Pro. So a little bit cheaper to get Pro for 2 years :)
