  • Hmm.. The reviews for this shop don’t look encouraging. Anyone have any experience with this company

    • After reading the reviews, I would not bother. Well I didn’t want to buy more batteries anyway.

    Price beat Bunnings??..

  • Just ordered a couple before reading the reviews, seems like they are slow on sending items out

I've purchased several things from them previously and never had any problems.

  • Never had any problems with these guys. Recently ordered 3 items and all was perfect.

Add an item worth at least 5 cents to get free shipping ($99+)

      $95.95 +5c = $96. Free shipping?

The price on the website is actually $98.95. But thanks for trying mate

        • -1

The price in op’s title is still $95.95. Why not ask someone to update the price mate

  • Does anybody ever pay $189 for these?

    • Probably people who use them for a living, rather than home handy-people. If you're on site and you realise you're out of batteries/drop your last one down a sewer/leave all of your spares in your other Merc ute, then you probably cough up for full RRP rather than wait for a sale.

Price is actually $98.95 on the website, plus $10 shipping.
Bunnings were able to price match and beat by 10%. Picked one up for $98.06. Thanks OP

They’re a group of tool stores based on the Sunshine Coast similar to Tradetools and the like , but with a distribution centre in Nambour and and Trading on eBay as gettoolsdirect12 where you can usually pick stuff up cheaper with discount codes .
I’ve bought a bunch of 18V tools from them and the only time I had an issue was when they sent the wrong tool model.
The tool rep drove out to my place to deliver the correct tool ,
then gave me a 18V worksite radio , a hat and stubbie cooler for my trouble ,
I thought that was pretty bloody good in this day and age .

I honestly don’t know what the reviews are on about , maybe they had some teething issues early on ,

and their not Amazon , their a small hardware chain that relies on Auspost to deliver their packages , so it may take longer than a week given there maybe public holidays at both ends of that supply chain.
They also have a contact number for online orders .

Personally I choose them over some multinational conglomerate that steals their tax obligations overseas even if I have to wait a few days more and they’re generally cheaper than anywhere else .

I grew up on the Sunny Coast so maybe I’m biased , but I don’t know them at all/personally or have any interests in the co.

  • Can't post this due to some stupid ozbrgain thing … only 4 available, $100 each for 2 x 6ah BL bats including postage ($200 posted pack of 2)
