Buying the Galaxy Nexus from Amazon Spain comes to approximately $358.50 (using a 28 degrees mastercard).

If you use a regular Mastercard / Visa, I believe you are charged an International Transaction fee of 2.95%. This would make the price come to a still reasonable ~$369

  • I should probably add that they state these become available 29th August, so there will be a small delay in shipping.

Personally I'd pay $20 more from Kogan and deal with a local company….

They drop ships anyways, so its all from overseas.

  • I paid $10 more locally.

  • kogan $359 probably still can use free shipping code

  • So people start to buy from everywhere now? What's the next Amazon? Japan?

I know this comment was in jest, however if the price of a product (delivered) is cheaper from Japan I can't see why not? The only detracting factor is that Amazon Japan, as well as Amazon China require separate accounts to that of Amazon US, which I have found quite inconvenient. If you have an Amazon US account, you are able to use those details for Amazon Spain, France, Germany, Italy and the UK; which is probably why we've seen posts from all those countries thus far.

I'd deal with Amazon over Kogan (local in name only) any day. Their service is by all accounts and in my experience vastly superior.

  • Remeber that Samsung does not have international warranty on the nexus, so if you buy non-australian stock you will have to get all waranty done through the reseller (i.e.: amazon spain).

Same with Kogan and TopBuy ect (which sell international stock) but at leaste they have their own local warranty support.
