  • What if we have a current membership and used a particular restaurant already. If we activate the new membership on the same account, will we be able to use that restaurant again and every store resets to not being used. Or is it best to create a new account

      • So basically its no use activating on your current membership. If all that happens is u get 3 months from todays date and u have already used the vouchers u want to use again

    does that mean "up to $50 cashback"?

    or "spend max $50, and get 25% off that" ?

      it means the 25% is a max of $50…..so spend $200 get $50 off, but if you spend $300 still $50 off

    The amount of upvoting doesn't match the 2.1 star app rating lol.

    Something similar to mynrma but some more options. Worth or not the $1 depending on your needs and availabilities. Bought 2 to find out more.

      I'm getting "The activation code you entered is invalid or expired. Please enter a valid activation code."
      One time it went it did go through to the next screen, I selected all the options and said was activated until 23-09-23, yet no membership active on the account.

      Have tried in app, and on website, same result. Copied and pasted code from order so no typo.

      Maybe someone randomly typed a code and happened to be yours? :D

      (Just tried again, one time got the already activated message, then back to invalid. Takes at least 10 seconds before it comes back with an error, guess they have issues with their backend)

  • Question regarding the single use nature of the offers attached to the membership - does this apply to discounted gift cards too?

    Looking at the wiki it seems 10% off Supercheap Auto GCs is available, which is great, but (a) is that still accurate and (b) if it is, is it limited to a single GC or is it possible to buy as needed over the duration of membership?

      You can use an many times as you like. Just note they do charge a fee for those cards, 1.25% I think it was.

    buy one today activate. buy another one next day then wait till 89th day activate. then you have almost half year double voucher member with $1.98

    • Everything will have a greyed out Offer redeemed button if there is no active subscription. You can check under My profile, Membership.

      Even if it said your membership was activated, might not be. I still haven't been able to activate. Says either invalid or already activated, one time got through and said activated but still no subscription shown.

          I can confirm it's a tech issue, I just spoke to Customer Service. Due to the popularity of this offer some of the recently purchased Memberships are temporarily malfunctioning, but I'm told it will be rectified shortly. The app and website are also running a bit more slowly than usual - hopefully it will all be back to normal soon.

            @comoprode: The code I tried to activate yesterday (and did say was activated but no subscription shown) is now active on my account without me doing anything further, so seems they are getting it sorted.


            Have just added a couple more subscriptions to the same account and everything is working as it should now.

  • Going to New Zealand soon and visiting 3+ cities. Is it better to just get the multicity as I don't think they let you activate more than one single city membership at a time unless you sign up with a different email and phone number and have it on a separate device?

    • Interested to know how this works too. It says if you activate a membership while you have an active one it will run alongside it, but not sure when it's a different city.
      I guess if you can just activate the one you need at the time it's not a big deal.

      Suggest downloading the app first too if you haven't already, check the map view and browse around where you are going to see if there's anything worthwhile first.

      At $0.99 each city, or $10.99 for multiple cities, you would break even at ~11 cities.

      Why not just buy one for each city?
      3 cities = $3
      4 cities = $4
      etc

      OK, so now that it seems they are getting everything working as it should have activated a couple of memberships for different cities on the same account.

      They run concurrently no problem, doesn't deactivate any existing ones. While I haven't redeemed any offers yet, looks like it is working as it should as I checked places in the cities before activating and couldn't open the offer page. After activating I can now see the offer and the Redeem button is shown in each of the cities I activated.

      Just gift the voucher to your friend!! Or you can use it for the same place 4 times if you find anything interesting.

  • So I've never used this kind of app before how does it work for dining? Do I redeem before ordering? Or redeem after I've finished eating and give a code to the restaurant to scan?

      You redeem after dining. That is better than say Groupon as the restaurant does not know you will be getting a discount and cannot try to treat you differently. You scan the code when paying.

          Just make sure you read the terms and conditions for the voucher. Most of them exclude public holidays etc

  • Ok so you need to activate within 90 days so at most you can have this for 6 months minus 1 day with 1 day overlap from 1st code, with 2 activation codes.
    Its not possible to get full year. Not sure when this EOFY finishes

      you can get 6 full months if you buy the codes on different days

    • 6 months could be 183 days

  • Are the offers inside the app one time offers? Can I redeem them multiple times?

  • Tried to redeem their offer for Harvest Buffet.

    After pressing redeem, it gave a code that expires in 10mins.

    But where do I enter this code?

    Entertainment's website doesn't have a link to book through their system.

    Harvest Buffet's booking system does not allow for code entering.

    Now the code has been expired and marked as "redeemed", cannot generate a new code.

    No one answers on Entertainment's hotline.

    What do I do???

      Probably need to redeem in person except the 10% off gift card where you can use online

        The thing is, I called Harvest Buffet and they said to book through Entertainment's website to get the offer.

        Sigh
