I know these headphones are not the cheapest or the most popular headphones on here but for someone who is looking for a pair then the price seems to be pretty good.

Description from site:

Delivering great sound wherever you want it, the Beats by Dre Solo On Ear Headphones with Control Talk are ideal for those seeking a studio experience on the move.

Using Beats Audio proprietary titanium coated speakers, the Solo Headphone are nimble enough to reach the delicate high frequencies while perfectly able to dive into deep, distortion free bass. Tuned to meet the specific levels of sound found in professional recording studios, the Solo Earphones replicate sound in the way the artist intended for you to hear it.

Lightweight and ultra compact, the headphones come with sturdy metal hinges for folding when not in use. The lightweight frame makes them ideal for use while travelling or at gym, adding almost no weight to your attire or luggage.

Cushioned on-ear headphones remain comfortably positioned even during exercise. Blocking out exterior noise, the ear cushions ensure you experience your music without any disturbances.

The built-in ControlTalk remote enables you to control your music on the go, directly from the in-line control. An integrated high-sensitivity microphone can be used to make voice calls on your iPhone without having to hold the phone up to your ear. Quick access to volume, play, pause and tracking controls make the ControlTalk system highly convenient.

150 at dick smith at the moment

  • InB4 massive amounts of people hating on beats despite never trying them. If you like bassy music these are decent for the price, and I say that having actually used them. Decent price in general, but not compared to the weekend headphone sale.

InB4 massive amounts of people hating on beats despite never trying them.

I have tried them. If you want to listen to music, enjoy your flutes, violins, guitars, in Bass edition..
The highs are non-existant, but good price for some street credit yo!

I own Solo HDs and previously owned Studios, if you actually want to listen to music and not a muddled bassy mess and insist on getting Beats at least get the Studios. Otherwise obligatory get ATH-M50s instead comment.

Melody is in the ear of the beer holder.

    • If you like bass-heavy, try Creative Aurvana Live! and JVCs, they cost you $100 or less with clearer sound and bigger sound stage. Beats Solo is just loud in bass but not clear in bass(compare to those headphone around $100).

I got a set for free with my HTC One XL. They aren't even worth $100 imo….

Friends don't let friends buy beats.

lots of free beats solos being given away from HP, HTC and others which are being resold on gumtree and ebay.

Might want to check there first, as most are cheaper than this.

  • I bought Studio from the fllowing site, very cheap. $157.09

2012 Australia Authentic Monster Beats By Dre Online Shop

That website just screams fake to me…

    • +3

probably fake website, if you look at the section "Beats by Dr. Dre Official Site", all links directed to "monstersbeats-australia.com"
They don't even have "beatsbydre.com"(Actually, all links are internal link)

More info for the domain name:
They are having register address in Belgium (not even in Australia)
While register phone number is +86 which is in China (One more reason to say it should be fake)
About the domain name IP, it is in Netherlands
(Wow, all of them are in different country)
Registration end at 2013-08-08, how can the website say 2012-2014?

  • That's why I am not gonna to buy this headphone….

    $129 at eGlobal ATM.

  • I love the pair of beats i got with phone.
Comfortable (Which is key for me), Way nicer to wear then my HD 25's which start the hurt the ear real quickly.

looks like this trend has finally reached aus. im seeing a rise in the number of retards with these headphones. especially white ones, but thats understandable because theyre free with the htc phone contracts. but the ones with black/red…. like really?? da fuq is wrong with yous!

  • There is a live chat option to contact that company. The guy confirmed that those are genuine beats headphone and i have the proof. In case i didnt get real ones i will create a scam report for that so atleast all stop them to trap other people

The problem is not what "monstersbeats-australia.com" say, do you expect they reply you "Oh, we are fake website, we sell fake beats".
There's more reason to say it is fake website than authorized (by studying domain name info), unless "beasbydre.com" confirmed that they are authorized reseller.

  • These cans are terible. Almost as bad as Duddy Beats.
