      Even with that hack, I find Firefox still shows the error on the first time, but works the second time.

    Have to avoid these deals now that I’ve seen what their support team is like. If you’re unlucky enough to have an issue with your code, their support team is completely useless.
    Bought the amazon giftcard deal last week Friday but never received the code, and was told they had a “technical glitch” and would get back to me in 24 hours. I call back few days later, said they would escalate to dev team again and get back in 24hrs.. its been a week now and no one has tried to get back to me, and still cant access the code. I called yesterday to check if there’s any progress and they were like “I cant see any order from your email” and not trying to listen. I told them to try the order number and they found it, but then said that I can’t get another code nor can they refund. basically said they can’t do anything about it??? lol

    Just noticed this:

    True Rewards does not allow purchases or payments made with prepaid Visa or MasterCard gift cards.

    Is this a new thing? I never had issues with this in the past…

      Nope, it is a clause that has been around for many, many months.

      In terms of my experience:

      • True Rewards will process payments from Coles Mastercard gift cards (physical and digital).

      • True Rewards will not process payments from OnlyONE Visa gift cards, Vanilla Visa gift cards or Go-To Visa gift cards.

          I will warn you that the era of using prepaid gift cards to purchase gift cards from Cashrewards may be coming to an end.

          I spotted on the EonX website a while ago that they signed a contract with Cashrewards to support its “next generation of rewards, digital wallet and payment services”. To me, that sounds like Cashrewards will eventually replace True Rewards as its gift card provider with EonX.

          EonX is known for blocking prepaid cards (even prepaid cards supporting 3-D Secure) as a payment method on some of their other gift card portals (e.g. AAMI Lucky Club, Bupa Life Rewards), so there is a good chance that the same will happen on Cashrewards if EonX actually take over from True Rewards…

      For CBA, you may need to setup verification. The payment gateway sends a code to your, either as text or through NetBank app.
