Hi guys. A nice bonus from Amazon for the upcoming Prime Day sales. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

The first 5,000 Prime members that enter promotional code “GIFTPRIME” in the “redeem a Gift Card or Promotional Code” box at checkout when purchasing $150 or more of eligible Amazon gift cards in a single order, will receive a $10 promotional credit that can be used on a future eligible order.

Offer available between 12:01AM (AEST) on 2 July 2023 and 11:59PM (AEST) on 13 July 2023. Promotional credit will expire at 11:59PM (AEDT) on 31 December 2023. Your promotional credit will be automatically applied to your account used to make the purchase within two (2) business days after your order is shipped (for physical gift cards) or within two (2) business days after the order is completed (for electronic gift cards).

You will receive an email that indicates the promotional credit has been added to your account. Your promotional credit can only be used for purchases of eligible items shipped and sold by Amazon AU and will be applied during checkout.

        It applied to anything $150 and bigger. I bought $479 (wanting the $489 kindle), but it came through after a day because they had to verify the amount with my bank.

    can confirm ordered 25 minutes ago, received both $150 gift card and $10 promotional credit within 10 minutes already usable upon checkout

    deal doesn't feel worthy of 500+ upvotes, difficult finding something not cheaper elsewhere shipped and sold by Amazon AU then losing out on cashbacks with promotional credits invalidating them, really struggled to find a use for the $5 with $20 minimum for listening to a podcast at least no minimum spend on this one

    luckily $12.50 health product ordered over a week ago still temporally out of stock shipped and sold by amazon au was able to cancel and reorder for $2.50 only missing out on 1.4% cashback was enough to finally decide to pull the trigger

      Hey prankster, I just bought even though I had the same error so ultimately I applied no code.
      However, I do have Prime and can confirm the $10 benefit email came about 5-10 minutes after though.

        I didn't get this error. I entered the code and tap apply. The code disappeared then i proceed to checkout thinking promo might be over.

          Worked for me around 5.10pm last night. Received the error message but went ahead with it anyway, but then got the benefit email about 20mins after purchase of gift card.
