[NSW] Beef Mince Premium 500g $4.75 (was $9.50), Beef Yg Scotch Fil Special $25 per kg (was $42 per kg) @ Supamart IGA

380

Pretty good deal for Premium Beef Mince at half price. I believe this is equivalent to Lean/4 stars/10% fat at Woolies/Coles.

Also the scotch fillet is on special too: https://shop.supamartonline.com.au/lines/beef-yg-scotch-fil-…

Only problem is there are not many Supamart around Sydney: Blaxland, Cremorne, Freshwater, Lindfield, Pennant Hills, Rose Bay, Tramsheds

      Better than o%

    • tbf this is even "Sydney"

this is areas where only upper class rich azzholes live

      source: i'm in pennant hills

      • Blaxland rich? Lol. Meanwhile Tramsheds have soo many uni students/young people living in the area.

Also you don't have to live exactly in one of those suburbs to get this deal, surely a 10 mins drive from Carlingford to Pennant Hills wouldn't hurt

        • We could argue Blaxland is pretty rich now :D

          • @Franky23: That's true! Blaxland is one of the richest suburbs around the Blue Mountains and Penrith area. But I think it's still around average across Greater Sydney (CMIIW)

      • So, a 20-minute drive to the Lindfield store then.

Yet apparently that didn't bother you with upvoting this deal from Clayton https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/748716 - even though it's not "ClaytonBargains", nor this one for Optus only https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/746654, even though it's not "OptusBargains"

Did you seriously report this as “inaccessible to Australians”

And then negging me for calling you out. Classic 😂

  • Is there any difference between "IGA" and "Supamart IGA"?

    • +1

Yeah they are different. Kind of like Woolworths vs. Woolworths Metro but IGA is even more complicated: IGA, Fresh Mint IGA, IGA Xpress, Supamart IGA etc

Edit: I'm actually not 100% sure what the difference is but it looks like Supamart is the fancier version of the usual IGA. I got to know this deal from Supamart catalogue and then I had a look at IGA catalogue but couldn't find it. So I think this deal is only on Supamart unfortunately.

Supamart IGAs are those that have their own butcher/baker onsite , instead of just buying those from the wholesaler i.e. bigger range. Regular IGAs don't; they just have packaged stuff brought in.

    Thanks for posting Op.

Thanks for posting OP. Would not have known even though SuperIGA is my local supermarket at the moment while Coles rebuilds. Don't forget to use 10% off Metcash GC if you have some.
