This is a great cooler but note the fans are LOUD. I had to replace them with be quiet! fans since I couldn't deal with the noise.

Once they get over 700 RPM they are very noticeably noisy. Cooling performance is excellent on my 13600K, gives the Noctua D15 a very good run for its money.

Also beware the back plates are made of plastic, so when you screw into it don't overtighten or you will break the screw mounts as I did. The seller suomole was great though and sent me out a replacement.

PS120SE also has an additional heatpipe over the PA120SE.

Great CPU coolers. Pains me to say that though.

    • yeah I've got the 7 pipe version. So good. Had a Noctua one previously in my SFF build, but thought I'd try something different this time in my new North build. No regrets.

I bought one about 3 months ago from the same seller. Note: they're not registered for GST, so if you need a tax invoice you'll be SOL.

The cooler is pretty good. I've only got a single fan on mine because the front one is blocked by my ram sticks (in a front-to-back airflow direction). I tried putting the fans on the other side of the cooler in a pull configuration, but the fan blades made contact with the heat sink fins.

So I ended up with a single fan in the middle and it still cools just fine (Ryzen 5700X).

    • The thermal performance is great considering the price but they really need to add memory height clearance in the product title to avoid the scenario you met.

  • 7700X with this one here, -10 curve, and some Sickleflow fans, and keeps it below my custom 90c limit silently.

    13600K + ps120se + 2 x P12 Arctic + 181W Power limit on PL2 with -0.1v undervolt = Cinebench r23 23.5k under 90C

    • I'm thinking of getting 13700k, will that be too hot to use ps120se?

      • I think with some undervolt and power limit you can probably use this cooler with 13700k (with PL2 being 253W and this cooler's tdp is 280W). But I'm pretty sure the temps will be on the hotter side.
