  • Quick question is your sample pack $3 for 30g?

    • +2

Yes, includes postage. We used to do our samples for free, but we were overwhelmed with sample requests, and costing us a bomb in postage.

      • -3

Maybe you could do a free sample pack for ozbargainers :P I am just saying this as I would consider buying some but the other day I had some Jerkey and the flavour really put me off it!

        • +1

I like your thinking, but if they offered free to ozbargainers he would be out of business in 3 hours!

        • +1

Or even $3 for all three samples, shipped. Then we can decide which we like and order away.

        • +8

Our samples contain all 3 flavours for $3.00 delivered anywhere in OZ.

Good price for great jerky! Shipping is fast too, I was scoffing in less than two days from ordering!

I'd have to say the the Honey Teriyaki is my favourite…it must be alright coz one of my mooching mates stopped by the other day & 'sampled' almost 500g of mine in a single sitting! :s

    • +1

hopefully he brought some beer around at least!

      • +2

He's been instructed firmly not to bother…he's a VB drinker! ;)

  • I love beef jerky but being an ozbargainer I just can't justify spending $75 per kilo on the stuff.

    • that is cheap for beef jerky, but if you cant afford it then buy some biltong its cheaper and its really yummy too.

  • Just bought a sample pack to give it a shot

  • grown on our farm!!!! yet you call it wild. How does that work?

    • Ever tried to pat a 900kg bull?

Just ordered a sample pack. Too bad the 15% promo finishes tomorrow. How about continuing it to next month?

    • I agree…

I also noticed you sell this on your ebay for $78 + $11 postage.

So your deal above isn't really 15% off and free postage… it's really only a $3 saving compared to your ebay prices.

    And.. if you buy 2x 500gram bags off your ebay for $36 + $7 postage (=$43x2 = $86) it's actually cheaper than buying 1x 1kilo for $78 + $11 postage?

Factor in the ebay fees, you could do this for cheaper than the deal above.

Great deal, is it possible to do a sample without chilli? ie duplicate one of the other flavours?

I'm allergic to chilli, it sucks i know!

    • +4

you get a +1 for being allergic to chilli. consider it a cyber-hug.

      • +1

        Thanks, so kind :)

  • just bought a sample pack. since i expect it will be at least until monday/tuesday before i can actually try, i won't be able to take up the 15% which ends tomorrow!! extend it in good faith :)

    • +6

If you enjoy the samples, drop us an email next week, we can give you a discount code to use on your order.

  • Yep, sample pack here too. Looks like there's a few budding customers here hoping for the discount! Me for one :)

  • why is Australian beef jerky more expensive than in USA? I bought jack links teriyaki flavor in USA last 2 years for 3.25 oz at US $4. It is equal to 92 grams for $4, but 30 grams for $3. Why is so much different?

    • I'd imagine economies of scale (large US company vs smaller aussie company), wages, delivery costs etc all factor into it.

  • So how did everybody go?

Just had my samples..nothing special IMHO.In terms of flavour and texture Bullbar chilli and Geronimo blazin saddle leave Wild Bull in their dust.
