    In terms of performance i find the firestick better. I terms of everything else, Chromecast is better. The app remote for firestick is crap, doesn't control volume or turn off the tv

    This isn’t that cheap and it’s constantly marked down. I’m not saying new devices aren’t coming, I’m just saying this special price isn’t evidence of that.

    If your smart TV is a little older, the Fire TV Stick would be quicker to use "smart" features.
    Also apps which are not on your TV's appstore but available on Fire TV Stick

      also be able to sideload apks directly to it. i used one of these that worked wonders. just buy the right one of which direction you want the cable to go.
