  • I saw this and couldn't work out why I would personally need it. Perhaps other people see more value in this item. What do you use it for if so?

    • +1

Graphic design. Though I can't draw for shit, it's still a tool you want to have around so you're not grabbing at handles in Illustrator or trying to draw with a mouse or trackpad. An equivalent Wacom pen (that does pressure/angle to the accuracy Apple Pencil 2 does) and tablet would cost a lot of money. Only recent iPads support hover though, which is something even the cheapest graphics tablets usually do.

That's fair. I can't draw either. Very depressing as my older brother taught me how to draw as a kid, but unfortunately I lost the skill through lack of practice.

        • +3

drawing boners on all my school work that is now on iPad/laptop.

Drawling diagrams/marking up notes for studying/signing documents when filling out forms - allowed me to go fully digital which is nice.

A big part of it is for digital artists. I personally use it for notes and mark ups of pics etc as get send a lot of building plans

    • Same thoughts. Trying to find a reason and the motivation to buy this from last few years.

Although I've found one - which is to replace paper notebooks with an iPad+iPencil. I haven't been able to convince myself to spend $150+ for this.

    • Apart from the normal uses (design, notes, markup, selective photo edits), I also use mine for relaxation. The native Apple Notes app with the Apple Pencil 2 is the most enjoyable drawing I’ve experienced, much nicer than the more dedicated drawing apps. I never really liked drawing before. Now I sometimes just feel the urge to pick up the pencil and open the Notes app. It’s extremely relaxing.

Great for designers. I use iPad as a second/third screen and if you ever need to brush something, just drag it onto the iPad and bust out the pencil, then drag it back to the main monitor.

  • Just placed it on the chair and sat ontop of it. Would say it works well, my pants now have a massive hole.

  • Can recommend

  • It may be a deal… but holy crap its expensive.

    • Same price as the S Pen Pro

      • Expensive.
